Hi guys. Not sure if anyone has asked this same question or not, but I will ask anyhow. What is your all time favourite Cat song and/or Concert?
I have 2 for each, so I think mine would have to be... "Bitterblue" & "Tuesday's Dead" & "Majikat Tour 1976" and "BBC 1971"
On the Majikat Tour DVD for those who have seen it, under his archive material he sings "Tuesday's Dead" at a Granada Concert (I think that's right) from 1971 and also "If I Laugh" from the Old Grey Whistle Concert 1971. Does anyone know where I can download this concerts, whether it be visual or audio? Cat looks gorgeous!
Thanks, Kristen.

pretty much agree with you there ... 1971 & 1976 gigs - great ; 1972 & 1974 ones - not so great .
as for viewing other stuff , check out multimedia section on this very site , lots of rare gems .
my fav song - The Boy with the Moon & Star on his Head . A complete fairy tale in 6 minutes . his masterpiece . as far as I know , the only available live version is from his TV Special thingy , november 1973...

Favorite song...have to agree with Boy With The Moon and Star.......I saw him in Cleveland in '72 and Boston in '74 and '76.....'76 without a doubt the best! When I watch the Makikat DVD it brings me right back! Barb

My fave concert was probably the tillerman video. Nice small intimate crowd. And our very own Shirley(girlhowdy233) was in that crowd. If only I could have been there and so close. YEP, he sure was GORGEOUS! SIGH!
Peace,Vivian

those 1971 tv performances to me are the best

'Fav song' is quite hard...'Hard-Headed Woman'? 'If I Laugh'? 'Novim's Nightmare'? 'The Wind'? 'Maybe You're Right'? 'Sitting'? 'Ruins'? 'Two Fine People'? '18th Avenue'? 'On the Road to Find Out'? 'Home'? 'Child For a Day'? 'Just Another Night'? Too many to mention, can't pick one. Gigs...I was only 6 when he gave up, come on... Well, as far as I could see, Gerry Conway's input was tremendous (I started off as a drummer), so I'll stick to 1976's Majikat.

It was like Beatlemania had returned when Cat played Sydney in '72.

I've always loved the way Cat forgets the words to "Bitterblie" during the BBC concert.
