I certainly would not say it "supliments" the GQ article! THIS article treats Yusuf with the respect he rightly deserves, UNLIKE the GQ article! It was an excellent article!

I did have a small giggle, concerning Yusufs remarks about missing the 80's and realizing he hadn't missed much.
Then I wondered how did 'The Mirror' came up with Yusufs' birthdate, as November 1947? haha
Nice to read such a refreshing article.

November is when he was concieved. So did Yusuf tell them that? Or did he tell them his birthdate in Islamic calander, he figures mid Ramadan which was November this year? And they converted wrong? Or what. At any rate it is funny.
I liked that he credits teenagers with forcing him to rethink his own music.

Yes, he does hold his age well.
And Chris, I agree with Yusuf, the eighties weren't that great. I loved the 70s.
