Thanks to Bangali for the link. LOL, I had looked and never found it on my own. I couldn't get it to run till I updated realone and used explorer. I highly suggest watching both clip #33 and #34. Yusuf talks in the second one and there is just a glimpse of him in the first. The talks seemed extremily interesting and pertinent to many conversations that have been wirling around here. I was especially impressed by the lady near the end of the second clip. The first clip talks alot about inter faith dialoge and the second about education. But those are generalizations. isna.net/vision/default.aspTuran

Turan, I can't get it to work either! I really want to listen! These computers are nice, but they still have so many quirks to fix! Uggggghhh! Is there a transcript to be found about Yusuf's speech?

Faith, Not that I know of. I wrote them in May and they sent me to the video, which I couldn't find etc, etc, lol. Thanks to Bangali and Marty and my daughter I at last managed.
It is not just Yusuf's talk that you should hear. The whole tenor of the conference is foreward looking, inclusive and positive.
LOL, they started with a signing people up to be organ donors....
Interesting most all the speakers were converts (and that was intentional). Yusuf points out that while reverts may be true it is also a conversion process because you have to rethink so many assumptions. He also points out that all one's life is valuable and the whole of it is a learning growing process. He said a little of IBERR
The lady whose speech I enjoyed so much was partially speaking of the importance to grow and not dwell upon the past, good and bad, but learn and grow.

Wonderful! Isn't that a coincidence that we were just talking about the beautiful Palestinian boy, Waleed Ouda, who died at the age of 11 and his mother donated his organs to help Israeli patients. Cool! Isn't that the truth! We do need to rethink so many assumptions! And all of one's life is extremely valuable and we are all in a learning, growing process! I agree most definately! Amen! We're here on this earth to learn! If we stay stuck in the web of criticism, then we can't grow beyond our own condemnation. No one is perfect, but this world was designed to help teach us to evolve and learn knowledge and seek answers. Turan, That lecture sounds like it would be a great one to listen. Maybe Yusuf will post it on his website. Let's hope so. Thanks! Faithfullight
