Helen, I think many are feeling the same. Sometimes you wish you could prolong that feeling of ecstacy during a YI concert forever. We have to find ways to work around that feeling of emptiness through different means. Watching and listening to videos of the tour, Yusufs CD's, DVD's, coming to this site does miracles, and reading everyones account of the concerts. Slowly Xmas will be here, and the new year will bring more surprises, so we have to be positive, be patient, and our spirits will be lifted again. In the meantime, the reality of everyday living, with all it's up's and downs will fill that emptiness.

W O W!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Oysterman. These videos are wonderful! A BIG Warm welcome to Majicat. What a joy it is to see Yusuf, again enjoying this as much as we are! ;D I can't add much more to what has already been said,. Yusuf, was OUTSTANDING! It was "majical" to watch him again. I had seen the show in Birmingham and was blown away then, but this time, he was even more relaxed and so comfortable with every part of the concert. The medley was an extra special treat! Just to put the record straight, about his glasses, he didn't throw them off, they fell off, because he was so into the music and got carried away in the moment, look at the very end of Tuesday's Dead, you will see what I mean! For me, there were tears and laughter along with a wonderful glow of just being there, with such a family of wonderful friends, full of love for Yusuf. Although, I didn't get to speak to him this time, the night was perfect! I did however get the chance to see Yoriyos and his band, outside, before going in to the hall, I hadn't realised he was walking by me, when he said hello, and come and gave me a kiss on both cheeks!!! He said, I hope you enjoy the concert. I asked him if I may take a picture of the group and here it is... NOXSHI I did take a few pictures of Yusuf, but they were mostly out of focus Here's the best of the bunch... YUSUF The day after we went to Helen and Peter's house for lunch, They have a beautiful home and made us feel so very welcome, Thank you for inviting us, Helen, your cooking was wonderful and your poor table was groaning with it all!!! I shall post some pictures later.

Oysterman.....exceptional videos!!!! You did a fabulous job...the quality is awsome!! Thank you sooo much, and the fact that you caught "the glasses" flying off, well, that's an extra special treat! Suzie Q...thank you also for the pictures! The group shot of Noxshi is really nice...and that Yoriyos spoke to you first, ooooh special!! Love it!! Richina ;D PS I have to ask...has anyone else noticed that Yusuf has on the same outfit at every show?? That's what he wore in L.A. in May. Think maybe that's his "Good Luck" shirt?? Or is he doing it for film editing reasons? Just thinkin' out loud....

Sue, I feel most of you must be reliving every moment over and over in your mind. Yusuf at the RAH, was definitely the cherry on the cake. Very happy you got the cherry as well. ;D A kiss on both cheeks. Well I would say Yoriyos sees you as part of the family now. ;D This lovely gesture is usually amoung family and close friends, or am I wrong? Anyway, it shows Yoriyos keeps an eye on you from this site. That must make you feel pretty good. Rechina, that is VERY clever thinking, and I think you could be right. There had to be a logical reason. I hope we won't have to wait too long to find out. Well till then, it's back to Oystermans INCREDIBLE videos.

I've been late getting in my twopennyworth but what an evening. The only thing that marred it was the behaviour of the people in the box next to mine who had wine and beer and got progressively drunker and louder. The music was loud so they were shouting ebven louder to make themselves heard. They had no real interest in the concert or the folks who had paid decent money to be there. To make matters worse thet hadn't paid for their tickets! They had Yusuf tagson saying Production. After the show I compained to Yusuf's staff and fur might fly, I think. Rightly so! Anyway, after issues with my mobile phone, I recorded it all except for a minute or so whilst I sorted yhe phone out. After seeing and hearing the excellent ideos, I hesitate to share this but some of you might like to have it so here it is folks! www.sendspace.com/file/j9ba2uSorry about the quality - proper bootleg stuff! It was fantastic to meet so many other Majiatters there from all over the world and put names to faces. What wonderful people!!! And so kind - this is a fantastic family! Our welcome at Helen and Peter's the next day was fantastic. Wonderful food - thank you so much, Helen. Also to all those who gave us a Christmas card - thank you! We are sorry that we hadn't had enough foresight to have done the same but we have been a tad busy recently! Sonia sang the most beautiful version of Over the Rainbow that I have ever heard! Sorry I can't mention all names but it was fantastic to meet you all and we hope to se you again soon! Thank you, too Yusuf for a fantastic evening. We look forward to he next one! Chris

A brilliant night at the Royal Albert Hall. I can't believe it after all these years, some of the oldest songs I never thought I'd hear him sing. Got some lovely videos, now posted on YouTube (slowly formatting so be patient) www.youtube.com/user/oysterman555#p/c/7B9861377669ACADEnjoy, and do post back on your thoughts Thought I'd bring oysterman's great YouTube link 'back to the top'. Thank you (!) to oysterman (and a warm "Welcome" to Majicat, o-man!) and to each and every Majicat friend who have shared their impressions, photos and videos with us. What fantastic dispatches from the big night! Again, friends, a million thanks for, in a very special way, placing your fellow 'catters in Royal Albert Hall right along side you. -Bud

Just seen Oysterman's videos. Superb and good sound too! My recording isn't a patch on that but it's mostly all there.
I must apologize to Chris (Workahollis) as we missed saying goodbye. It was good to meet you! Stay in touch!
I was also sorry to miss meeting Crobarbie who was pointed out to me whilst I was chatting but who had gone when I looked around to introduce myself!
I'm sure there were others there I missed too but what a fantastic evening!

There is nothing else I can add to what everyone has posted as they said everything that needs to be said. It was the most fantastic night for me, Yusuf Rocked ;D ;D the man is back It was so lovely to meet up with so many people, old friends and new (well new as in first time actually meeting them). Let's hope there will be another "gathering" again real soon (hint hint Yusuf). Thanks once again to Helen and Peter who invited us all to their lovely home for a fab lunch (banquet more like lol) and gave us an afternoon/evening to remember We also had a private concert courtesy of the lovely Sonia. I have met Sonia a few times but this was the first time I had heard her singing live and believe me she is even better than her videos. Thank you Sonia Marie

It's my pleasure. By the way, if you recall, just before the last encore, Yusuf was talking about a concert in 1972 when it was foggy, and how amazed he was that people venture out to see him. One woman shouted out 'I did!' and Yusuf replied, 'Did you?' Well, that was my wife. Seems we left our mark on Tuesday! I wonder if anyone captured that? By the way, during Father and Son, when some of us came up to the very front of the stage, Yusuf asked people to sit down. Well, I was in the middle of filming, leaning on the stage with my thighs, and so as to keep going and not disturb anyone, I sank slowly to my knees and finished off virtually with my chin doing the leaning. You'll spot when I start to sink! I wish I'd done the lot but, 30+ minutes of his greatest hits in HD isn't too shabby. I also took some photos, one's here - more to come Attachments:

I also took some photos which I'd post if I could work out how! Any tips? Go to photobucket - great place to save your photos, with the ability to then repost them on a message board such as this. You can make your account private - so that no one else can go in and 'steal' your precious photos !! Very easy to use. www.photobucket.comHope this helps !! So glad to meet you - I forgot, in all the excitement of your videos - to welcome you !! Peace ~~~~~~~~ Nancy

Oysterman. I am 100% that the fog in London that evening was 1976 not 1972 as Yusuf thought. Because I got tickets and the fog was so bad that I got upset and tore up my tickets. Cat then announced that he would put on an extra day for those people who could not get there. To late for as I tore up my tickets.

Helen I did some research and found this website www.billdeyoung.com/cstimeline.htm1972 December 4 . The "Catch Bull at Four" tour comes to a successful close with a sold–out concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London; fans brave the thickest London fog in recent memory to get to the show. Also, someone of the official web site had recollections of 1972. So, maybe there was a lot of fog in the 70's

Well thanks oysterman for that info.
But I am so sure it was 1976 the Majicat tour. I was engaged then and I did not get engaged till 1974 and I bought two tickets as my fiance had never seen Cat and we could not get there that evening.
Yes we did have alot of fog back in the 60's and early 70's.
