Nope. You can hear some of them on this and that concert, but in its entirety, I don't think so. I'd love to hear Novim's Nightmare one day, though.

Indeed... lovely song, chord changes are easy, not too difficult to perform on stage as, for instance, "Monad's Anthem" would be...

I have to say I am with Regii on this one - I would love to hear him sing "Drywood" live. That is another of my "must-play-loud" songs.

Like hurt said. As I wrote many times before on this board, The Boy with the Moon and Star on His Head = masterpiece. Complete fairy tale in six minutes. Hopefully the video of its live performance (that '73 special thingy) will show up one day (can't believe that's the ONLY song missing from the video bootleg, grrr); at least we have a complete audio recording from that night.

But what misses I mostly is from "Catch Bull at four" The Boy with the Moon and Star on His Head I love this song I either heard or read in an interview that that's a song he probably won't sing again, because of what it is about - a man having a little fling on his way to his wedding. I believe the words Yusuf used about some of his "Cat" songs were "You can't white-wash them all."

BUT maybe with sime minor changes in lyrics in the "inappropriate" areas, Yusuf MIGHT agree to sing this beautiful song again. Hey, we all know by now, when it comes to Yusuf, NEVER EVER say never! Peace,Vivian

alot of his songs could be like a documenting type of performance.. doesnt mean anything either way .. sort of docu/dream/visions in one ... I think He could probably all of them again .. except well maybe.....wait ... I've just edited this part .. there is nothing wrong with any of the songs because they are time frames .. even "Later" , 'Im Ready', 'Headed-Headed Woman' ... I find nothing in those songs inappropriate .. I'm ready ready ready to love I'm ready .... ! Listeners will take it the way their inner island is viewing and vibrating to it ...'Hard-Headed Woman ... is about love authentic soulmate love .. and He wrote about it ..nothing wrong with singing about it now welll , theres soooooo much in that song .... soo much. theyre all beautiful songs filled with love and childlike joy and wonder ... processing feeling ... One cant take that away from anyone ...well maybe 'I'm gonga get me a gun' its like recently He sang Reggae "Old School Yard" ..reminiscing bout' the days and "I remember you " If one is remembering ganja ... its alll reminiscing .. I think He is perhaps realizing .. its alright .. for him ... and that is good.. allll good nature ... so really any of his songs could be reminiscing ... or docus/visions/dreams .
God I love the violins in Jzero! wow I just thought of "Killing Time" ... "Life" is such a beautiful song too ..

@janeb .. I would love to hear "Drywood" LIVE again .. thats a strong possibility . Just to see him connect with the piano would be full circle forhim and a gift for us as well... Xmas early in May perhaps ? ? He always had Jean aroudn to blend with on the piano .... That would be .. wellll the ultimate of ultimates wouldnt it !

ilovemycat It sure would be lovely to see the look they both gave each other .. the many looks actually . I rather enjoyed them .. very endearing . My hometown city Cleveland ... i'm sure by now .. will be realizing the poor choice of not putting Cat Stevens in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame as of yet .. I've called them and gone to their office very politely and they have given my their bla bla bla ... I know that when that beautiful day arrives that they will all be together . actually its in my afternoon prayers and visualizations that they play / harmonize again with one another.. and as Peace Train reveals.. "for its gettin' nearer .. it soon will be with you ." -- Lets visualize!

I think Jzero sounds really good live and I hope he'll consider performing it again. Drywood is said to be Aluns favourite song on that album and could be a possible live song again aswell. A live version of Home would be euphoria.

I agree Christina - I would love to hear him with Jean again! Dreams do come true! Dang - I should have been a bit more careful. What I really meant to say was "I agree Christina - I would love to hear him with Jean LIVE AND IN PERSON, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL again" ;D
