I'm still going after it! I hate competing with anyone here - but ya gotta do what ya gotta do It's that Cat dude. No hard feelings I hope... I already have the book, so no need to worry about me. As far as bidding against fellow Mes Amis, it did concern me for a while, but E Bay as since changed its polocy, that keeps bidders identies a secret. The only ones who sees who's bidding, is the bidder him/herself, and the seller. Everyone else is given a series of stars and numbers. At least that's what it appears to be. Therefore, we all could be bidding against fellow majicatters and not even know it. Peace,Vivian

It's still at $4.00. Condition of the book not as good as mine according to the seller. I received mine today - in great shape but the binding cracked when I opened it. Looks like it had never been opened before. Can't wait to start reading it. It's the perfect remedy for a long and delayed commute tomorrow a.m. due to a tower switching fire on the railroad!! I will not mind the delay at all.

Thank you. I hope I can get it. I'm new to this site, wonderful to find people as crazy as I am about Yusuf.

Right, I was so happy when he started recording again. I think my co-workers, children, neighbors were happy too. New music coming from my office and home. For 40 years I have been playing the same music, good to have some great new songs in the mix.

I know just what you mean; my kids swear that I never listen to anything recorded after 1978. Fortunately, my husband doesn't see what's wrong with that... Jo x

Well, I must admit, neither do I! It's just that I hear my friends talking about the variety of new music they have on their iPods, and I'm forced to realise that all MY favourite music is "of a certain age".
I'm not complaining though; I wouldn't change a thing!

Yes I did!! Late lastnight someone put in a bid. I thought maybe no one really wanted it because it had a wave in it. That doesn't bother me though, I just wanted to read it. I was never planning on reselling it. I thought maybe I would get it for $4.oo too. I set my alarm this morning, sat my by computer for the last 1 1/2 hours of the auction waiting to be outbid again. I was very happy to get it for $56.00. Thanks to everyone for not bidding against me. It made my day!!!

Good for you, that's not a bad price. You'll enjoy the book. Doesn't take long to read, but looking at the pictures.....takes hours! Make sure you get Daddy-O's book too. (George Brown/on Majicat site) It's very informative and the discography is extremely helpful if you're collecting.

Last week I emailed George and ordered his book too. I also have The Boy Who Looked at the Moon. Have you read that one?

There is one for 15 Euro on UKAmazon, the one for 20 Euro sounds better. With the exchange rate and postage it might be about the same as the on for $50.00 with free postage. I paid $35.00 for mine. Maybe if no one bids on it, they will relist it for less.
