I was looking at the photo section and noticed the one from 1974 of Cat wearing his "well known" number 33 blue jersey. Could someone tell me what this is? Is it a football\soccer jersey or is it a numerology thing? I'm just wondering as I've never seen anything about Cat being a sports fan.

My guess it's a football jersey. Don't know what team or who held that number, though.

I think richina's right. It just looks like something you'd buy at a clothing shop that has the look of a sports shirt without actually being related to any club or anything. On the subject of football/soccer though, I'm sure I remember reading once that Cat or Yusuf did go to some soccer games and support a London team. For the live of me I can't remember whether it was Chelsea or Arsenal. It was mentioned that the stadium was near his office, but other than that I can't really remember much. I could be misremembering this all though, so take it with a pinch of salt.  |

Blue is Chelsea colour but thats not a football shirt, Im looking at a photo of a young Cat wearing that very famous 33 shirt it takes pride of place on my sideboard its one of my favourite pics :-)

I listened to an interview with Yusuf on Radio 5 (a sports station) and he mentioned he supported Arsenal because it was his local club.
