Y'know, I seriously considered flying to Oslo for this. After all, at 850 kroner, the top-tier tickets would have cost me a mere 130 USD! Not bad at all, I thought. Then I checked out airfare and found a round-trip flight for under $500. OK, still within reason I figured. Then the hotel search began. And by the time I'd worked it all out, I'd have been spending roughtly a grand (not including meals, transport to and from airport, and all those other incidentals) for 3 days in Oslo in the winter. And I am not a snow bunny! LOL It was then I considered the fact that, with so many other artists involved, I'd be likely to hear, what? Three, maybe four songs from Yusuf? So I bagged the idea and crossed my fingers that he'll be coming a little closer - or warmer! LOL - and/or singing more than a handful of tunes sometime soon. -Joanne

Oh, maybe people like Mikhail Gorbachev and Nelson Mandela go there Otherwise is Oslo beautiful in the winter. Here from Kiel goes a daily ferry up there, and in the winter, it is quite cheap. But where to get tickets?

In fact the ticket price was quite reasonable and Oslo was not really far away so I started to arrange a trip to Oslo. Fortuanetly the flight was much cheaper in my case, Something around 90 quids which was really encouraging. I could also find a good hotel ( including everything except a good location because it was 4 or 5 miles away from the city centre lol) The only thing I needed was a tiny sheet of paper which is known as ticket so I started to surf the web to see if I can find any. I sent an email to Oslo Spektrum and after a couple of days this is simply what I received: Hello, The Nobel Peace Prize Concert is sold out, we have not tickets left. Best regards Oslo Spektrum lol, that was the end of my trip But yeah I really like to see a new concert, Joanne. And considering the new album we can expect to see something in near future

It would be kind of nice to see a DVD of the whole show, but I wonder if they would go to the trouble of doing that. Hopefully, it will show up on what has now become the proverbial YouTube.

Does anyone know if this will televised anywhere? I remember watching the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize Concert earlier this year on a Sunday afternoon on CBS or NBC; It must have been either in January or February.

This is for Vivian! Do you remember me? Sharon Reddy. The original Hard Headed Woman from the orginal website. It's been a while, but you have always remained in my thoughts as a friend from "the old days". So much has gone by, but here, and now, unbelieveably, Yusuf has produced an album!! When I received it and put it on, I had tears streaming down my face. I know you understand. Peace to you, dear, in this holiday season. xoxoxo

I had those same tears streaming down my face, and just think, now that Yusuf has his visa back, one which he NEVER should have lost in the first place, we may get a tour! Please don't be a stranger here. I have missed you SO MUCH! Stay around! Peace,Vivian
