ForeignerSuite20: Great photo of "Cat Expose." Some things never change. Have you seen the footage of the recent interview done with Yusuf at home in which he performs two versions of "Peacetrain" -- the original version and the blues version? There's also a surprisingly blatant expose it that video, with Yusuf quipping "Well, it's in there somewhere" followed by ooop ....."I guess we'll edit later". LOLOLLOL

Some photos show a crooked tooth, others are straight. Can't blame him. But I hear ya. I've thought about this. Seems that he didn't have that much luck with women long-term, eh? I'll bet he was just a bit egotistical and intense. I can imagine a relationship with him must have been exhausting. At this point in my life I find his 70s image terribly sexy, but in the past I probably would have felt otherwise, not being a great fan of facial hair or mussed-up long curls. But then, I'm an 80s girl, and things change. ::sigh:: |

back in the day people wore plates over there teeth and alot of actors do to this day ... I cant say He was trouble in the 70's .. more of an easy going guy ...really .. and a fun sense of humour. I loved his sense of fashion savvy too... just loved it .. it really went with his texture of poetry lyric too... Of course he had it going on in a time when there were no stylists... and that is what I really admire!! He put it all together .

I like his crooked teeth better.
I can picture him being both easy-going/funny and egotistical and intense too - lol. Don't know how that's possible.
I agree i totally love his hippy, earthy, artsy sense of style back then.
Love the picture from Catch Bull at Four Regina posted and the one Aurarisma posted with him in the snake/lizard? skin print pants. Those are both my faves.

::)I actually trimmed my own hair to look like His...his back in the 70's.........had trouble with the beard tho....tweezers took care of the rest teehee ;D Yknow I've seen LOADS and LOADS of photos of the Man and I still discover new ones .. and He ..he manages to look so good in all of them, from then till now.........Blimey He ..he mustve been posing non-stop..........NOT that I'm complaining mind ;D I was very pleasantly,oh so very pleasantly surprised when I eventually discovered that the beautiful voice had a beautiful face ............beautiful soul altogrther.......... still is |
