Hello any/everyone Any chords or tabs for Jzero? I've tried to figure them out on my own, but is a very frustrating process given my lack of skills. Much thanks!

Err.. :/ I found the Jzero thread on page 2 of this boards, and am somewhat (read...not really) able to follow all the correspondence. But was there someone who ended up completing any tabs viable for posting? I ask humbly, not demandingly, mind you.
Oh boy, I hate when I reply to my own questions on a board, and then reply to that one as well. I hope this thread doesn't end up with me having a conversation with myself. I do that enough as it is!

I can't help you out, and I hope I didn't get your hopes up by replying - but I just didn't want you to think you were talking to yourself

Ha! Great post ilovemycat. Thanks for your consideration. At least now I won't also have to request Eric Carmen's "All By Myself" chords!

OK, I'll just quickly jot down a Verse or two to give you the gist:
Capo 1st fret
VERSE 1

VERSE 2 (A)-------E-------E7---A Well, I ain't got nothing, --------E------F#----B And to nothing I belong. -----C----------D---G You won't find me right, ----------A----------C----D Yet, you won't find me wrong. --------D7/F#-------G If you think about me, A------D7----A-----B7 Don't think too long. -------C------D Just call me Jzero.

Does anyone have the full chord sequence for "Jzero"? I've been playing around with it today......I have most of it, just really the instrumental sections I'm listening over to get right. Great song though.

Hi Mark (harrysong),
Check out what the guys above have posted, and if there's a certain section of the song that you need additional chord info for, let me know. I've never tried to play this one; I can tell it's way above my abilities. But I have the Cat Stevens "complete chord songbook" which has Jzero in it. The chords listed might be a simplified version that you can use as a basis for what you want to play. To re-type the whole thing here would take a really long time, but if there's a specific section you need, describe exactly where it falls within the lyrics and I can let you know what chords they list in the book for that sequence.

Hi t4tillerman. Thanks for your help. It is the chord sequence in the instrumental between these two verses (it's a tricky section):
Well, I don't eat a lot, I do work for nothing so If there's a job I can fill the gap I don't need a room, a bed or a pillow, oh Once you've decided to trust me with time You won't need to look back
This section here!!!
Well, I ain't got nothing but it don't worry me I came to this life like a free-walking tree No need to be tied, no need to be They call me Jzero

I hope it helps. Actually I want to thank YOU because I've never seen these threads for guitar tabs. The only way I found them was because your posts led back to them. I don't see a direct listing in the forum for guitar tabs, just a link on the main site. How did you ever find it? There is some great information in there. Mentions of songs I've never heard of and such. ("Edge of Existence" for example.) So thank you, Mark!

No problem. In fact I stumbled on these threads when searching Google for the chords to Jzero! I agree, there is some great information here!
Out of interest, what guitars do you play?

Ah, my only guitar is the Ovation I mentioned before. I rarely get a chance to play it. I used to own 2 Ovations but sold one to a friend. I'm actually a really bad guitar player... i just "noodle" around on it. As a child I learned violin and piano and never attempted to play guitar until I was in my 30's.

Ovations are nice guitars. My only issue was the width of the neck (I like a wide neck) and so found the neck a little bit of a problem (as I did on a few other guitars too!). The neck width was tne reason why I sold it. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your playing! As long as we can happily strum along to songs, it will put a smile on our faces!
