Does anyone know if Yusuf has got a kind of recording policy? What kind of camera is allowed? SLR or only compact cameras? What about audio and video? Anything known?

Most venues will tell you there is no recording of any kind allowed. You just have to wait and see what happens once the concert actually starts - if they stop you from taking pictures or not. |

Thanks, Jane. Is there a possibility to get an answer from Yusuf's management? Ever tried to get in contact about it? I mean the tour website runs a fan image competition, so Yusuf must be ok with having the fans taking pictures. Don't you think? Otherwise it would not make sense... BTW, I'm a very experienced tourer of Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) and Eric Clapton. Have been to hundreds of shows. I'm one of the editors of the website 'A mark in time' (Knopfler) and I provide photos for 'Where's Eric'. I know how to record, make pictures etc...and I'm a software developer |

This new site has such an electric vibe~~ All aboard The European Tour Train Its very exciting ... ty again and have a safe trip ~~
marky49 they usually dont allow cameras in sight so my suggestion .. as I will do is rely on my Blackberry camera and also buy a small camera like the Sony Cybershot and God forgive me but hide it on you back of waist area .. etc where they wont look!!! but question is will they remove person if they see them take quick photo~~! hard to say I'm sure each venue and each usher usherette in arena will have their own agenda ...
I'm getting so excited .!!! i should have gone to the opening concert.. I'm going to look at tickets now .. I think 4 concerts is not enough!   |

Can we vote more than once? I think you can but not for the same one. Also, some people don't seem to understand what a cover is... I'm also wondering how many covers you can submit.. there's one guy there who seems to be submitting ALL of his Cat covers. |

Yes - the competition webpage says, "Upload a Youtube video of yourself performing one of Yusuf's songs..." But from the video gallery, you can see that they've already allowed more than one submission from the same singers, so it's gotten really muddy pretty quickly. |

@sun thanks I've been able to vote!!!Its fun.....yes as glaucus says you can only vote once for a cover but you can vote for as many of them as you want...some of them are interesting ;)and all have made such an effort!!Thankx for your info and link....

Charles, beautiful!!Love your cover song. Also like Eduardos and a few of the other cover songs. Now we need to get after Mike and perhaps Kristian and Jacky to upload one of their songs to the competition. This is fun watching all the entries.Wonderful competition, Majid.

One of my favorites and so nicely done x! Thanks Christina, Sun, Christine and Regine! I went against two of my principles here. One, allow embedding of my video and two, get a Facebook account which was unnecessary after all, since I could have participated without being on Facebook. You've got to have a Facebook account to vote but not to post a video for the contest (I think). I don't have 348 Facebook friends to vote for me so it'll be on merit! Anyway, it's a fun competition and it's nice to have another venue to share my cover. Thanks to all who "LIKE" my video! |
