I was there...it was incredible!! the show started with a majic act in which 3 large boxes were moved across the stage and placed one on top of each other. ..at the precise moment the third box was placed on top, cat stevens kicks the doors open and suudenly appears guitar in hand and starts to sing,

I envy you! That was three days before the Montreal concert I "could" have attended. |

Wow, Hare. That is awesome. I told my mom and she was
Pleasantly surprised. None of what you said rang a bell to her, but she did say she remembered the first song was "the wind." "Benapple gas" was also a big number according to her.
Btw, glaucus, i looked on the majicat website and saw the date you were referring to, that was Springfield, MAINE. Not Massachusetts. My
Mom says it was specifically springfield Massachusetts.she diesn't know the exact date but says she is pretty sure it was 1975.

You should buy the MAJIKAT DVD for your mother to bring back more of these beautiful memories. I'd been to the Cologne Concert in April 1976 and need to watch the DVD from time to time :-)

It's Springfield, Mass and it was 1976. The American tour took place in the winter of 76. |

Took a year but got there in the end LOL the question was asked in April 2011 And the really wierd part was that I checked in here like twice a month to see if anybody repsonded (wasn't hopeful), and when I first checked in and saw it for the first time in two months, hare has posted it 10 minutes prior. WIERD!! I took me a while to repsond though... |
