That is quite interesting. Definitely an interesting rendition for sure. Thanks for sharing that.

pretty sinister sounding in parts. Yusuf has relaxed so much these days I wonder if he'd still feel the same about this appearing in the movie now. Or maybe he just wanted it for his play!

I think he has changed his views significantly-he did give permission to use Wild World for the British series Skins which was quite a challenging drama.

Thanks for the link. Interesting indeed. There was a Quebec movie made in 2005 called "C.R.A.Z.Y.", the story of a young gay man growing up in a traditional catholic Montreal family in the 60s and 70s. The film has a great soundtrack and the director possibly wanted to use "Trouble" in the film. The song appears in the "making of" but it didn't make it to the film. I've always wonder if they went over budget and couldn't secure the rights or if Yusuf, considering the subject matter, refused to give permission. Never been able to find an answer. The director was obviously a Cat fan, there is a big poster of "Harold and Maude" that appears in the movie. Here's the trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAZEwKn7qXo
