Thanks for all the ABC concert clips.. but look at this news: Dick Clark, who holds the rights to this concert? right?? is getting pretty old, 76, he had a bad stroke 2 years ago, and he's decided to auction off a bunch of his memorabilia!!

I don't know if this is good news or bad news.... hey Yusuf will be in NYC on the third for CBS, right? maybe he should check this out!!!! get his concert back!

"Thousands of pieces in Clark's memorabilia collection are set to be auctioned on December 5 and 6 by Guernsey's Auction House in New York.

A self-described "true pack rat," Clark said he keeps a 28,000-square-foot warehouse filled with memorabilia, from which the items to be auctioned were selected.

"I finally decided that it was time to pass it to a generation of people who would enjoy it before this stuff gets too old," he said.

Clark, 76, suffered a stroke in 2004. After a recuperation break, he returned to his traditional hosting role on the televised New Year's Eve celebration from New York's Times Square last year. He said he plans to host the show again this year.

It would be great if Yusuf could get the rights to that wonderful show-IF he can find the time to check into this, MAYBE he will.

Aren't those spots pre-taped? On another note, this is good news and hopefully it can be acquired if it's available. The timing is sure right for Dick Clark to get a better price
