It's worse than mine! Worse? I meant stronger of course.  Looks like you guys had a blast! Well we know how it turned out - you DID have a blast, and a cry, and and a laugh, and a scream or two (as any 17 year old will do). |

ilovemycat thanks we did have a fantastic time meeting each other for the first time and the concerts and all the sweets too!! As for my accent it is mostly Cleveland where I was born.. we over enunciate ..      I'm sure it is mixed with some Nyc too but I've never heard that before ..usually they are like where are you from I have to tell them the midwest ... lol... originally .. blood is from Mani and Chios !!!

:)Yes soitis...it truly was a lovely moment...and so exciting..guess thats why it was more crazy than you would expect.....from 2 ladies.........lol ! Although its not so good to see yourself live.. its great to try to share that fully charged feeling ..cos it certainly lasted all weekend..before ,duirng and after the concert....and to some extent is around in my life now too...occasionally coming back full blast!!!long may it last.. ;D ..and that taxi was half empty..plenty of room for all.......it was a beautifully magic journey indeed!! Oh dear, I have just this moment tried to recall the Taxi driver..goodness ,what must he have thought...well judging by the response of other great Berliner Taxi drivers I guess he was a Cat/Yusuf fan himself!! I must say Berliners were such great hosts ..really helpful,on the trains,Taxis.....everywhere...it is an allround brilliantly unique place to visit...I was so blessed.. ..................(and crazy!! ) One thing which was so so cool..amongst many....was when I was in a Taxi going to Christina's hotel..before the concert..I was trying to keep calm and gripped..and was succesful..when suddenly unbelievably..(I thought my imagination was on overdrive for a moment) I could hear Cat/Yusuf's Wild World it came on the Taxi radio......it was a lady taxi driver....and she was so sweet..after her initial shock of sudenly finding she had a demented passenger going crazy in the back !!Anyway I used my rudimentary German to try to explain but she,wise woman,just waved her hand ...and put the sound up loud... ...WHAT A MOMENT..HA HA..I phoned Christina so she could hear!!!How about that!Pointless rtying to retain any grip after that!! ..!!one of the many lovely moments that I can take out of my treasure box and polish and enjoy!! Glad you enjoyed the excitement of the moment soitis...and thankx for saying.  x When I recall stuff from that whole experience I feel the same again...I guess that ,thankfully,will NEVER wear off...YYAAYY |

:)Gosh I've just remembered a 'moment' that your lovely photo has reminded me of aurarisma .... It was Saturday (day of concert)and you were guiding me as to some sights.(by phone!!!Ha Ha !! )..and I was walking across the bridge over the sparkling water and heard strains of a waltz.a most beautiful and enchanting sound ..evoking such joy and peace ..a lady blind lady was playing it on her accordian...wow how I fancied floating in dance . ..but there was no Mensch about!!We had such a laugh me and the lady ...mostly due to my poor German .but also cos I told her I had no partner but was doing a few steps on my own...Ha Ha....Before that concert I swear I was getting away with any unconventional behaviour....I had the biggest excuse ever....I was going to my Yusuf concert.. .wow still makes my day and even now am getting away with some non-conform. stuff ...I've done the Berlin 'thing' ...but it will never be over it seems!!! lol ....I am so so grateful and humbly happy for it all!! :-*and If I didn'already believe in a higher Truth ,I would now...cos the 'thing' was in so many ways full of what can only be explained as Divine moments!!! Shiish and Yaaayyy!!! |

time=1305616354]Yusuf did sound a little flat in Berlin []but as some of us say the sound in the arena was very poor, so this must of given Yusuf the hump. We all still enjoyed the concert and being truthful, we enjoy Yusuf, by him just being there.It was nice to see everyone again.
I loved seeing you Helen too !! xoxoxo but Yusuf being flat in energy or vocals ? I was in 5th row and I actually thought Yusufs performance in Berlin was soo boylike .. the vulnerable charm of the man was shining that night I really wish the vids that are on you tube of yusuf in berlin video'd by "yuv" didnt have yuv singing with yusuf... lol... maybe because I was sitting so close it was a very unplugged real warm night ..cozy to me anyway !!! oxoxo |

by jove, I think Ive got it opened !!! thank you flottmann1 u are a treasure !!! as is this berlin audio ... Berlin Berlin.... what a tender concert ... with layers of feeling in the songs.. I wish I was there again !!!

... Nyc was very flowery and colorful today ... musical orchestrations all over .. sooooo much going on today everywhere ..... I chose Central Park ... and did some pastels...and finally with the help of glaucus and flottmann1 I was able to open the audio of Yusuf European Tour Concert from Berlin~!... ty x x and to wambaugh for I believe finding the torrent.
...it was amazing ... such boylike strength,charm and pathos yusuf exuded ~
so... while listening I was organizing my Berlin photos .. with my "journey to museum island "and such but as I went to put it all on the page here I lost them .. the sequence ...so I will do them tomorrow .. "on the way to berlins museum island and some of the fine art there too "
here is a photo of the moon in berlin .... and just a few nighttime photos of my trip back from museum in the gallery area near Alexanderplatz I have a few sculptor painter friends .. I love the alleys of these apartments my friends say they are safe so we walked thru them ..very cool to walk thru BLUE and then PINK      the shadow of one of the angels in the Altes Museum... amazing isnt it...~

glad that you liked it @sabina ..the museums you were near but didnt get in this visit ..as a few I'm sure didnt have time for.... Berlin Munich and Paris has some nice art x I sooo love museums and galleries old and new ... one of my fave things to do xo joy xo
