When he comes to America we will be applauding during half of the songs .. that is how it always was with him and will be I have a feeling .. some concerts .. when that happened I remember he didnt like that at times ..... he wanted us to hear the songs... I totally agree.
he was a such a sensation then and is a sweet sensation now ...

One of the highlights of the night for me after Angelsea , was "Changes IV" at 11:27 of this vid and the best part of the night was at 14:53 I love Yusufs Joy! xox I def believe it!

 ilovemycat..Cripes WHO could fail to hear THAT!!!LOL...too funny..x not at all.. I dont think that is corny any more than I believe that Moonshadow Musical is naive...or that Majicatters are flakes!!lol Its all too real to me....salt of the earth stuff... What you say about Yusuf is true....period ....if the reality sounds corny when expressed then so be it!! About his name choice ......how apt it was......how apt...  oh and ended up being prophetic too of course......THAT in itself is some parallell.......Joseph of the Bible....BUT Yusuf version in the Koran has more detail and I found it enthralling and somewhat amusing to know that he chose Yusuf.......my how that man evokes a myriad of emotions...crazy!! must be my channels pick up his vibes...not everyone feels the same....thank goodness most peops here do!!  And clearly all the folk in Paris gave him vibes right back!!!What a truly spectacular moment! I think God blesses Yusuf because Yusuf now lets Him...... ============================================= He will be coming to USA I believe he is saving the best for last !... dont worry y'all when I spoke with him and gave him the two guitar straps , an izitso yo yo, chocolate and an original release ad of Remember the Old Schoolyard to frame (from Melody Maker) and CurlLife from Matrix for his curls heheheheee .. I kept saying usa usa usa and he looked and smiled then I said usa and he looked at me with that beautiful "greek look" (hard to explain) and then ... I waited and did usa one more time smiling (pleadingtoo lol ) and he gave me a smile like of course !! when the whole world is buzzzzing he will climax it in USA and those audiences willl be the whippped cream on this big icecreamfloat in the sky!!! He loves us ... I can see why he is doing a bit of Europe and such before he hits USA .... God Bless him and hope it will continue and it wont be long .. We have to grab the concerts when they come our way ... Carpe diem you know  xo

A guy like this - who sang every single word (I think that's what he was trying to do), moaned ("Yo . . .Yo . . . Yo . . .") and WHISTLED through my favorite song "Maybe You're Right, Maybe You're Wrong" in Berlin is an excellent example. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZugS2a0oOJwoh.my.word. Sorry - but this is so many kinds of wrong. Tatiana pales in comparison. Is it possible to get a person thrown out for singing badly through the concert - seems only fair. Wow.  Berlin was such a tender show... so high octane and the vibe was electric .. Berlin really is an eclectic blend of a city ... I really like it there .. and the audience in Berlin had so many young people in it ... who were high voltage .... yusuf must be on such a high with the water and air and the love and joy!! I wonder if he has come down a bit yet ... xo God bless him ... I was really thnking about his musical Moonshadow that he is working on and I hope that he wont stop with the one musical.. I've always thought with his musical arrangements that he should be writing musicals as well. I hope he keeps creating ideas for musicals.. I think he would be such an asset to the theater world too.. and it is his dream xo Dream on  xoxooo He should take a vacation to Monemvassia and write from that amazing mountain. Peace xo |

oh no ... it happens to be one of my fave wonders of the world.. in he southern part of Greece... cobblesstone roads .. just soooo wondrous!!! xxoxo Google it!!!! xoxoo I so enjoy it there and its stillness xo Ive written alot of lyrics there x

Yes, in all seriousness, it is annoying having someone disturbing the flow of the concert, but it is a live show, and you must expect the unexpected, just as much as when Yusufs specs fly off, or he forgets his words, or there is a sound control blunder, or he seems a little peaved about something, or when the gang break into a greek dance, or when the grand kids come on stage, so many unexpected things, some things you don't plan, they just happen, they just add to the excitement, making the whole experience extra special. That's what I love about live concerts, every concert is a unique experience. |

The piano is not loud all the way thru .. just a different rendition I guess but still nice!
I wish they would keep this song just as it was done intrumentally in the original.. its such an EPIC song .. I kinda feel the same way with Peace Train tho I do like the electric guitar and yusuf plays it so well.. I just like a sunnier stream of the song with accoustics .. the electric guitar is nice tho but not my first choice in the vibe .. x anyway I dont know if these were posted before but I found them yesterday and they were lovely xoxoooxox

Thanks Suzie ... it doesnt look like him.... Pete played this song alittle different this concert but I believe because the other guy kwami (?) , who played in past the piano in "Sitting" was doing guitar ... God I love how they both play of course not as well as yusuf playing "Sitting" on piano ..that would be one of the ultimate of dreams for me coming true ! ... It was such joy to hear and see yusuf play piano that it gave me extra sparkle of joy in my soul that will never ever leave !!! It gave him some too! I love the look on his face as he is playing the last few keys in "Sad Lisa" at the Bercy .. ahhh what moment that was!!!
He is performing all out as much if not more than he did in the 70's .. and doing more time too! his concerts usually lasted 1/1/2 hours back in 70's . I hope that they bring DVD's out of each concert for all the people that went to each concert to revisit maybe in one disc box like he did with that box set of cds remember !!! Peace xox
