Gee I haven't looked at my boxset book in a while, but isn't the Williamsburgh concert the one that the live tracks on disc 4 where taken from. That would be fantastic to have on video. Isn't that the concert that someone said cat was in a bad mood about the flash photography...awww...they'll have to do some creative editing. Although, I'd probably find it amusing if they left it in ... hahaha. -jen.

I remember reading in the STARR magazine article where Cat mentioned he never enjoyed his concerts being played back to him. Though if he did watch them, it was just to get a clearer understanding of his concerts in order to better them in the future. So from that little ditty, it sounds like they recorded them quite often to review the concerts. How many they kept is any ones guess. But he did mention on the GMA program they found a video concert from the Majikat tour. I think he said it was the Tucson, Arizona concert. So if this is true, then we know they have at least 2 Majikat videos.

Personally, I'd love to see early things like Ready Steady Go and Top Of The Pops. Quite possibly wiped into oblivion. Somewhere in the mists of time there was a TV appearance with Stevie Wonder. I'm sure I read about this in Rolling Stone as a youth. Perhaps someone can confirm this? Cat is always overlooked but let's hope with this recent renaissance, with the box set and VH-1's Behind The Music, more archive recordings get officially issued. I'd be very happy to see those early promotional films, like the one he did with Patti D'Arbanville. So as a new year's resolution let's hope for: Cat Stevens: The DVD Anthology triple box set!

Lady D and George that would be a terrific 2003 prezzie to us if only it would happen.
My little wants would be: The April 1976 Disco German TV Performance, Granada, his early Beat Clubs, and 'The Hart and Lorne Terrific Hour'.
I don't ask for much , do I ;-)

You guys are right! We need a VIDEO/DVD box set of EVERY ONE of Cat's performances, including that one with Stevie Wonder! And oh yeah, if that jam session with Ringo Starr, on SINK IN THE CAN was ever videoed, I MUST have that as well!
Peace,Vivian

And oh yeah, if that jam session with Ringo Starr, on SINK IN THE CAN was ever video-ed, I MUST have that as well! Oh yes! Wouldn't that be a fun one to watch?! I'd love to watch him kidding around, especially when he says, "Now let's do one about bee-uh..." That line always makes me laugh!

Jan, I have a feeling that Cat was very 'happy' that day... I bet he was so cute when he was 'happy'. I wonder if Yusuf would mind if we saw him 'way back when'...hehehe Probably not, but Cat/Yusuf is cute anyway and to see him acting goofy would just endear him to us more. I doubt he likes us hearing the other comment he made on that bootleg. It was sooo 'naughty'. Hmmm, we all say something naughty sometimes....thank God he can look back upon those days and blush as I have done myself when I heard something (or read) something astonishing that I have said. You should hear the old jam tapes of my friends and me...whoa...Cat was so tame. We won't go there okay. hehehehe. Love, A'isha

Cat did a duet with Lulu on UK's Southern TV in '67 or 8. I have a brief news snippet somewhere. Now that would be very interesting to see. The odds of it surviving are very slim sadly.

Oh I can be quite greedy as well. I also want them all, and sorry, I don't believe that the ABC show is gone forever. Someone out there has it in it's entirety. SOMEONE has it.

For me it has to be...the Granada Out Front Concert - the snippit on the majicat dvd was a tease!
I bought The Very Best Of Cat Stevens double CD set a while back - on the bonus dvd there is another snippit of this concert - Where Do The Children Play. Awesome!
