:)One of my most loved and played songs is Love lives in the Sky
From On The Road To Find Out (repackaged)(Disc 2)...it is so beautifully bereft of instrumentation..especially the beginning where Yusuf sings ..only the voice.....
AND I especially find ...'rivers growing fish is flowing' particularily fascinating.......especially when I listened to Land of free Love and Goodbye recently from Numbers..1975.(I always think that Numbers somehow should precede Teaser and Tillerman...)and the lyrics are ' rivers flowing...'fish growing'

ANYWAY point is that although of course Yusuf reworked lots of stuff including lyrics from Land of Free Love ....when repackaging to Loves Lives....but why the 'rivers flowing/growing.....and fish growing/flowing?...any ideas anyone.................

I never noticed ... is it the demo version that is on On the Road to Find Out? I think he just messed up the words But you never can tell with Mr. Deepness can you?

:)Hi.ilovemycat .lol..I like that, Mr Deepness.............but no, I don't think its a demo...I downloaded it onto my Mp3..and when I checked the youtube Love Lives there it is....rivers growing... fish is flowing.....and I love that...whatever its all about...and if it is a c...up...then I love it all the more!!!lol...............

I guess the only way to be certain is to ask someone to listen to the track in the Box Set..I am not in possession...could someone check ?please. ....thanking in anticipation....

I don't see Hyacinth's comment about the alliteration, but that makes sense. And I totally like the imagery of the gleaming white horses in the sky, much better than the revised version.

Fishing growing? Really. Who knew? I never have caught those words, thought it was fishes growing... hee hee - is that proper english?

Oh my gosh - I'm all confused. I never noticed because I never heard the box set version. Are the demo version words the same as the words on Numbers? Guess I'll have to do that homework tomorrow on the train...I love this homework.

I guess for me it is just that I always was facinated with ..Love lives in the sky....as a re rewite of Land of Free love........and I much prefer Love Lives......The words 'rivers growing.fish flowing ....are more poetic...in alliteration...(I too did not see @hyacinths post...but I would like to...we miss you Hyacinth ..come back out to play!!!)..but also in meaning?.....and I dont think it can be a mistake...Mr Deepness also goes by the name Mr As-Close-To-Perfection(for a bloke)-That-You-Can-Get!!!

So hopefully we shall see that it was intentional,as I suspect,BUT if not and if the words are back to their original position in the latest version..then I shall relish that even more!! ;D
