Hi evreyone , In the song "Father'', from" Back to earth" is Cat adressing his real father or is it adressed to another figure? anyone have a thought?

Lyrically it was beatifull.Conveying the questioning nature of children. As a song it was alright. Perhaps based on his father and other people. it was really true that life is a dream

I read some where that Yusuf had lost his father some time in the mid to late 70's, so he could have been a speaking to his father. Wishing one last time to take a little walk with him and talk about the scheme of life.

This is my favorite song from " Back to Earth". I've always felt that it was a quiet, calm expression of his spirituality, the desire to understand himself and the world within that context, and a "marker" of sorts about his journey at that point in time. I've also always wondered exactly when he wrote the song and under what circumstances. Think I'll go listen to it now...
