God!!What a great song!!i love the way he sings this song, especially when he goes:

yes, great song. I was addicted to this song for a while.. but then, i guess I gave up on the idea of a hard-headed woman! hehe... but i still love the song.
I was so struck when I first heard the verses you mentioned ("I know many fine-feathered friends..etc), Ruins. The sweatness of truth!

This has always been one of my favorites musically, great lyrically too, but the title used to throw me a bit; I'd think of the Elvis song. And I can't think of another reason.... maybe this is another instance of my sister's undue influence on me. She got me listening to CS in the first place, but seemed to have criticisms of everything. Pardon me while I pause to work all this out.....
