OK, need a little help and suggestions. Since I now have almost all of Cat's CD's except for the very early ones, I've been putting together compilations of favorite songs. I realized that my favorite ones seem to be the more up-tempo ones such as Tuesday's Dead, Angelsea, Bitterblue, and even Rubylove. Do you have any others that would be in the same vein? Even though I like "An Other Cup", I don't think any qualify from here. Thanks in advance.

I think I see the Light is upbeat.. my favorite up-tempo song would have to be Bitterblue.. as sad as the lyrics are, it's empowering.
I like Changes IV too.. Christine, is that what you meant by Chapter IV? otherwise i have a song to download!

Banapple gas fits the realm of Classic sounding upbeat Cat Stevens sounds... and possibly Another Saturday Night

Thanks for all the suggestions. Christine, I did include Chapter IV, but I "Changed" the title. That's a great one. GS, thanks for, I Think I See The Light. LadyD, Can't Keep It In, great. Wind, I like Banapple Gas a lot and included it. I had mixed feelings about Another Saturday Night because he didn't write it, but because there aren't that many, I'm going to include it. Others I'm putting in, On The Road To Find Out, Matthew & Son, Music and probably, O Caritas. That's 12 all together. Thank you all, I now have work to do.

Christine had suggested this one too. Being that you also recommended it, I had to give it another listen. I must say though, it doesn't do it for me. Unless there is a different version than the one on Footsteps In The Dark, to me it's not on the same level as the others.

Sorry, I didn't see that Christine had also recommended. That'll teach me to skim! Each to their own likecat, I think it's a gem. Maybe it'll grow on you. Keep rocking!

I am looking at the CD to MAJIKAT. I do not see Miles From Nowhere on the audio CD. I think it may only be on the DVD. I'll check when I get home, but then I wouldn't be able to include it would I? Not sure if that can be done.

Miles From Nowhere is NOT on the audio CD. Didn't realize you were waiting for an answer.

When I wrote the following, I didn't get the idea, which was somehow to do a tape off that DVD.
******
Some mentioned are pretty easy-going and not uptempo. Some are uptempo but with a sad or complicated undercurrent, not just plain happy. I don't know what mood you want.
I'd add "Ready". Explodes out of those speakers, and is as energetic and fun as they come.
Sounds like you want to make a great car tape. Mine goes as follows:
Crab Dance Bitterblue I Wish I Wish But I Might Die Tonight Don't Be Shy Angelsea Tuesday's Dead Sun/C79 Miles From Nowhere (of course) I Think I See The Light
Others: I Love My Dog Kitty 18th Avenue Jzero Whistlestar Killin' Time

Thanks for the suggestions V-creeper. You're right, I am trying to make a great car tape. I really tried to stay more up-tempo even if they are a little sad, ie. Bitterblue. I'm also making an all instrumental CD, so I'll include Crab Dance there. Looks like I might have to combine them. With Crab Dance, I only have 5.

Not sure if that can be done. Yes, you are right. I loved his "Miles From Nowhere" performance and I was annoyed that this song is not included on the CD. "Ruins" is also not included on the CD.

There are also songs on the CD that are not on the DVD, such as the heart felt "HOW CAN I TELL YOU. That was such an emotional version, and I so wish I could have seen it as well as hear it.
Peace,Vivian
