I first heard this song last night, and was very interested in the way that the original "heaven must have programmed you..." lines (from foreigner) turned from romance to spiritual emphasis. The new part of the suite is all about positive spiritual transformation, while the old part is still about love and finding the right partner. Love means many things. Think the whole idea of rewriting the song is terrific, and I really like thinking about Yusuf (Cat) re-listening to his tracks and finding ways to use the stuff that was already pointing toward his spiritual quest....
