Hello, to all at Majicat,
Sorry I just don't get the time to drop in at Majicat very often these days, so I apologise to all those that have left private messages for me over the past couple of years.
It's great to see some of my guitar tab contributions have still come in useful now and again, and that the tabs section has continued to be added too (and certainly improved upon) by other Cat fans.
For any old friends out there, you might be interested in checking out my Youtube channel which I set up a couple of months ago.
If you go to Youtube my channel name is.. MrDiddyDee.
www.youtube.com/user/MrDiddyDee?feature=mhee#p/u/2/FloSrkQh3aI
On there you'll find a total of 130 videos so far, which I try to keep adding to when I can. All recorded at various live acoustic events I've organised, and performed at, over the past 6 years or so.
There are many covers of classic pop songs from the 60's and 70's that you can see me sing, as well as many brilliant professional and semi -professional acts, and friends I know, performing their own original material, where I have done the lighting and live sound for them.
I've just added the studio versions of the covers of Cat's songs I recorded 10 years ago, that I sent to some of the members here at Majicat. I never got around to releasing them, despite kind comments from Alun Davies himself, and also Yusuf's staff, I've always been terrible at finishing projects before getting distracted by another one.
There are also a couple of live duets I've done too (Father & son, The first cut is the deepest'.)
If you want to see all of my own live performances, go to my own channel first, then use the 'grid view' icon (top right) to bring up batches of uploads, then just put.. David John ..in the search box. (rather than the main Youtube homepage, as there is another David John who is a Scottish rap artist. )
The songs are all listed first by the writer or original artist, rather than who is actually performing them.
If you do have time to visit, please subscribe, or try to leave comments.
Thanks,
DJ
