Wow, can't wait, but I wonder what that "little jewel" is gonna set us back? 11 CDs and a 164 page book... oochie $$$ $$$ I know, how about a few autographed copies for his biggest fans...huh? Yusie, are you listening?? Yeah, that would work for me!! ;D the book is all I need really....good grief, I've got multiple copies of all his albums (vinyl, cassette, CD, 8-track, and reel-to-reel)....many from different parts of the world even!! (some legal and some not so legal! )

i would love this to Novim,Richina hope we can Jane are you buying ? Like Chris, I have lost count of how many times I have purchased some of these albums, but, yes - I will buy it! Of course I will! Richina - I bought both the Australia release of "Roadsinger" and the Australia concert DVD from Australia and the shipping was not expensive at all. It seems to cost more to ship things out of the US than into the US.

As you can tell, I prefer to put my money towards old stuff. Hey Jane! ;D

Maybe this nex box set news should have its own thread in the Cat Stevens section. Is it possible to move the last few messages? Just a suggestion.
I will buy it for three reasons:
1- It's Cat Stevens!
2- The book
3- I have a confession to make. Believe it or not, I had to sell my THREE box set in another life for reasons that shall remain undisclosed. That was a few years back. I made CD-R copies of "Numbers", "Izitso" and BTE before selling it! And I never bothered to buy the real albums individually after that. So there you go. I'm gratefull for this upcoming collection so I can get the "real" remastered CDs of his last three albums.

Oh heck; I want it! I really want it! And I definitely promised He Who Must Be Obeyed ( ) that I wouldn't buy any more Cat/Yusuf stuff until there was a new album out... Another wifely promise bites the dust... Is everyone going to give in to temptation and buy it too? Jo x

Something that may be displayed rather than put away with all my other CDs.

"The Do's and Don'ts of Wedded Bliss" and my personal favorite... "Truth: The Basis of a Long and Fullfilling Marriage". Yeah right, 30+ years ... I ordered the collection and the book!!

You're so right, Richina - truth and honesty are definitely the secrets of a long and happy marriage !!! Fortunately, Mike is (a) pretty tolerant and (b) after 27 years, quite used to me! I'm still hesitating over the collection, but I've "accidentally" ordered the book this morning - it just slipped into my trolley, honest. I keep telling myself I'm just helping the world to spend itself out of recession! Jo x

It was 44 Australian dollars on top of the price of the collection to ship to the UK so that makes it slightly less than £100 delivered. The reason I gave in was that the Australian concerts DVD was never released in the UK. Gotta grab it while you can!
If it helps the cheapest price for the book I found was from The Book Depository.

The total price (including shipping) from Australia to the US is $129.77 - but I'm not sure of that is USD or AUD. I ended up ordering it from amazon.de for 60,21 EUR (also includes shipping) - around $79 USD.
At least I hope I ordered it ok. I may forward my confirmation email to Gabi for a little translation assistance!
