As I posted earlier this week, I have been trying to figure out a way to reduce the available colors to those that are easily readable for all members. Despite hours of searching various sites on the web, I have not been able to figure out a way to do it. While some were upset that the forum was set to all black, I have heard from other members who appreciated the change. Hopefully a compromise will satisfy everyone.
The following colors should be readable for everyone:
Black
Brown
Navy
These colors should be readable if they are bold:
Maroon
Purple
Blue
Using these colors as indicated above should make the forum accessible to everyone.
Additionally, there are other colors not coded into the forum that should also work, but you will need to type in the color name to use them. The easiest way to do it is to highlight your text, select an existing color from the drop-down and substitute the color name with one of the color names below:
DarkBlue
DarkSlateGray
Indigo
MidnightBlue
My earlier request remains as it was: please refrain from using the other, lighter colors for an entire post. If you want to give your post a headline or something like that, feel free to use the other colors.
Hopefully this helps and people can have a bit more fun with posting.

HI Jane,
yes i was on here last night and it seems the proboards kept saying there were technical difficulties .. what the screen kept saying with a cartoon woman popping up was : oops we are experiencing technical difficulties. and the blue lines on the message area had nothing except the inbox .. I will check again when i get home on my large desktop to see if it is happening just on that computer.. or was a glitch in the night hours last night . it seems fine on my new laptop today.
