I read that the Royal Albert Hall, is it really so bad because if you make pictures? I'd like to hold this evening at some photos! I went to a concert there last month and Helen warned me that the Royal Albert Hall is VERY strict about not taking pictures, and she was right. We were able to take photos of the hall before the show, but not at all after the show started. The only exception was that during the final encore no one was stopping anyone, but I couldn't get a single photo during the show itself. Of course, that won't stop me from trying...

I hope Chris & Annie make it back in time to get some tickets. What a time to be on vacation? Hey Eduardo, Uwe & Colleen Have a wonderful time in London Town! It's amazing how many people are going. It's made me think about even renewing my passport, it expired in August. Maybe one of these years I'll even make it over there.

Jane, is that guy on ebay stupid or what? Why would anyone buy those expensive tickets when they go only go on sale for the first time to the public tomorrow. Greed! No, I don't think Yusuf would like it either.

I'm also very suspicius that the seller states that he/she doesn't have the tickets at the moment but will in thirty days, YEAH RIGHT! They go on sale tomorrow, so how the heck is ANYONE going to believe that. As far as scalping goes, yes, it SHOULD be illegal, but unfortunately people get away with it. Hairy and I have our own experiences with this. Back in 1990, we were still living in San Fransisco when Sir Paul McCartney did his first tour in 13 some years, and we decided to try and get tickets. The day the tickets went on sale, we arrived at the ticket outlet place,(Tower Records) eight hours before the store opened, and the line was already around the block. By the time we got up to purchase the tickets, we were lucky enough to get almost the very last tickets, and we soon found out why. Some GREEDY JERK paid of about 100 homeless people $50.00 to camp out in front of the store three days before the tickets went on sale, with promises of a big pizza party or something afterwards. They in turn would each purchase four tickets each(The max allowed) therefore grabbing all the best seats. THis jerk in turn bragged about this to everyone still waiting in line and now out of luck, saying if they wanted tickets they would have to go through him. Those tickets went for a bloody fortune, and I remember two front row seats sold for over $2500.00 each Yeah, I know all about buyer beware, and if no one bought from these scalpers, they would be put out of business, but it's just not that easy when you REALLY want to see a show.
Peace,Vivian

I've got 2 tickets Block B row J. Birmingham ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Much, much better than what I was offered on the presale, which was Block EE, row R Not sure if the price is the same, I've paid £75 each. By the way I don't think of the NIA being small or intimate in the slightest.

I've bought my tickets on the general sale, nothing dodgy I was just wondering if the presale tickets for fans were cheaper.

Just joined the forum today. I have manged to get tickets for Birmingham - CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
However, I was told when I booked tickets that on the day the ticket holder who purchased tickets will have to come to the arena with the card used to buy the tickets as well as photographic ID. If they do not have this - they will be refused entry
My friend who is going to Dublin has been told the same.
Just thought I would share in case anyone purchased tickets as a gift or got them as a gift.

Fortunately I bought a ticket only for myself, but I am curious as to why this would be required. I have only heard of that in cases where you pick up the tickets at the venue the day of the show. I am going to see the show in London and there was no indication of that in my email confirmation, although I always travel with both of those things. Enjoy the forum! Jane

This won't work, of course if you're buying tickets as a gift, and that is really unfortunate, ANyone have suggestions as to how to get around the very thoughtful gift idea? Peace,Vivian

Welcome to Majicat, Peacetrain 1980 I think Jane is right, this must be only if you are collecting the tickets from the Box Office. It is done to protect the card holder, I would guess.

Try searching on 1 or 2 tickets if you and your friends don't mind not sitting together. SuzieQ could be right - maybe they will release more tickets tomorrow. If they do, you should be on it first thing in the morning. People are acting quickly!

This is his first real big concert in London (as the tree others) & UK, what did you expect? I am glad for Yusuf that there is still so hugh interest for him after 30+ years, but I also hope that you'll find somewhere your ticket (they are not all so expensive as I posted before... check it out on the various sites... but I do not think that you'll find good ticket for RAHall bellow 150 GBP
