Helen, if I understood you well... you have more from the concert ... it would be nice if you upload that too  and about singing... not bad at all... and it is very, very original version of "The Wind" with female backing vocals... unique ;D "THANK YOU" |

If we compare London and LA concerts, the only difference is that he played Miles from Nowhere and Ruins in London, and he did not played All Kind of Roses which was on setlist in LA
So, the London concert was a little bit longer... for one song

And for me it will be nice if for his future concerts he add just two songs : Into White and Moonshadow... those lucky ones in next week BBC concert would probably be lucky to hear Into white... so, please Yusuf (if anyone connected to Yusuf read this tell him) ... INTO WHITE !!!!!!!!!!!

I was standing next to the bouncer at the Empire and he was
stopping people from taping as he said it will be filmed for a DVD.
He was very sweet to me and ignored me taping.

I understand the LA concert was also filmed...I hope for DVD!! (cause you will see my smilin' face right up front ;D bobbing my head and singing every word!!!) And to everyone who has posted pictures and reports...KEEP 'EM COMING!!! I love it--makes me feel as if I was there! I am sorry you all had to stand, but I bet you hardly noticed...with all that FABULOUS entertainment!!!!   BTW who was the lady wearing the "WANTED" t-shirt at the cafe? That's the shirt I want!! That T Shirt was from Yusuf van. He gave it to Michele.
Think they will soon be selling them on Yusuf site.

That song Miles from Nowhere is in the movie The Brothers Bloom I know because when I was still tormented by how to go to London I went to the movies to escape and that movie was starting.
I wanted to meet everybody but I decided not to go. I didn't want to be greedy cause I went to the El Rey.
At one point there was a quiet moment and just when I thought I was safe from any thought of Yusuf or Cat Stevens or London or you guys.....
All of a sudden: "Miles from Nowhere......blasts out of the speakers
Hmmmm I though. What a great song. Figures he would play that song in London!
AGGGHHHH!!!!!!
PS the movie was very entertaining if you like Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo nice cinematography too.

The chauffeur of the van who gived us the t shirt i was the first one to get one it was very funny ;i stood there to pose for a pic before the van and in one time i felt a arm around me and it was the chauffeur Hamed was his name i think and then he gave me a black t shirt with the van on it because i was brave or something he said so funny and ofcause everyone wonted a tshirt the last he had was a red one with the red room on it ,i said can i buy it and he said oh no not buying it i give the t shirts away but i said maybe i can give you something for Small kindness no no he said and then there was someone else who asked one for her daughter and it was the last one .Sue got one from Nosxi ,Yoriyos gave it to her while he was writing something on my cd bury my heart at wounded knee ,she said LOL i will hold it for you for a second and he said you can keep it so Sue was a t shirt ritcher.All those thing were making it a beautyfull evening really ,i hope now someone post the pic when Hamid put his arm around my shoulder and i was looking a bit scary but then laughed when i saw what happend Regii so who HAS THIS PIC I DON'T NOW WHO WAS TAKING THE PIC

Y'all are killing me with all this talk of free t-shirts You were soooooo lucky! To see Yusuf, Yoriyos, the van AND get a shirt ?? Sheesh, I'm never in the right place at the right time!!!  I know, I know, I sound silly...but I love having things that remind me of wonderful events. Not to mention as conversation starters..."Hey, where you get that shirt???" "Oh, I got it at a little ole Cat Stevens concert "  (hee-hee) And the converstion goes from there. I think it's a great way to spread the word and keep the music flowing to others who think "the Cat" is dead.
