Dear All,
As a birthday treat I attended the Cat Stevens' concert at Shrewsbury Music Hall in February 1967. Great show! My father used to help with the venue security team from time to time and on this ocassion managed to get Cat Stevens autograph on his white cotton handkerchief. I sealed this in a plastic bag and today after clearing out an old suitcase in my attic, I have found this piece of memorabilia.
Is it worth anything?
Peter.

Hey Bad...nice to meet you! As far as your memorabilia goes...you have to remember you're talking to a bunch of die-hard fans, so yes, it's worth something!! As a (or is that "certifiable"?) I can tell you I've seen Cat/Yusuf autographs sell on Ebay for a wide range of $$. Any where from $9.99 to several hundred $$. The ones that have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), from a reputable company, are the most reliable. I've had a handwriting expert look at several I was interested in and most were "quite obvious fakes" to his trained eye. I was disappointed but glad I asked first. Also, believable provenance (history) can help make the item more valuable. It always helps to be able to tell how you came by the autograph in question. Well, I hope this helps and if you want to sell it, let me know, I may be of some assistance ;D
