I'm really loving Spotify! If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot. You can just search for Cat Stevens and have ALL of his songs (maybe all of them?) listed, and just hit PLAY!
I'm working on opening an antique shop (had to sneak that in) and while I've been here getting it straightened out, I've been listening to Cat on my computer all day. My goodness, my goodness . . . there are enough songs there to listen to nothing but Cat all day and all night and never get bored. Or at least *I* never get bored of him.
SUCH a wonderful thing.
Been listening to songs I might not get to otherwise - still have not managed to collect every recording like some of you. Honestly, a confession - this was the first time I've ever heard the full version of Foreigner. Love it! So different than the version on "Best of." I'm constantly astounded by how witty and progressive those more obscure tracks are, particularly the earlier ones.
OMG the man is just so darn lovable.
And when my shop opens, I'll have it on other "channels" - big band, bluegrass, 60s, 70s, classical, etc. for my shoppers' enjoyment. Also gonna make a playlist that's a mixture, and go heavy on the Cat, particularly songs people won't necessarily recognize as being Cat. Ha hahaha!!!!
