I'm just reading Chris Elliott's novel "Into Hot Air" in which he is attempting to climb Mt. Everest with a bunch of celebrities like Tony Danza, Kirsten Dunst, and Michael Moore.
A hard-drinking Lauren Bacall is also onboard - in one scene they are having a drink on a train ride and:
We toasted each other and settled back in our seats.
"Thanks for your help, Lauren," I whispered. "I'm glad you're on board."
"Well, we make a good team, kiddo."
She placed her hand on top of mine and Cat Stevens' music and visions of Harold and Maude danced in my head, so I gently pulled my hand away.
