Hi. I was always curious, being the Cat historian that I am, did he perfrom any concerts between the end of his Majikat Earth Tour and his final concert for The Year of The Child in 1979? Thanks.

Good question!!! I read somewhere that he and Alun make a trip in 1978 or 1979 to some countries of East and Middle East (I'm not sure which ones) and played some concerts in small venues. I don't know if there is some recording or video of any of those presentations. Do you have some information, George? Ale.

You are right Uraguayo, after the huge tours Alun and Steve/Yusuf went full circle and did some small charitable gigs together. There's nothing recorded as far as I know. Then there was a short break for nearly 30 years! Here is a related article which is a moving account and there's some photos of a concert in Rangamuti: www.majicat.com/articles/Dutchmag.htm

I agree with Vivian. I have noticed that some of Cat Stevens' videos have already been taken down so I got wise to it and started downloading them to my desktop so I can watch them when ever I wish ;-)

It doesn't work for me. I have several videos on myspace page, but again, if Youtube takes them down, they're lost. How can we get then onto DVD??? Then I know they will be saved forever! And there are so many that I want! Peace,Vivian

If you have the real player, you can download a video and keep it in your library and then you can watch them from your computer anytime you want.

It will let you know when its done so you can start downloading it to your desktop. It is very intuitive. vixy.net/T

Hi Vivian and all, I suggest that you really should try 'Orbit Downloader', providing you are working with Internet Explorer. If you are using Mozilla Firefox then you have to activate this when you install the program. It is an absolutely BRILLIANT little program - it's free to download and use and it grabs EVERYTHING from the internet, not only.flv videos but even stuff that other downloaders can't download, be it video in any format, audio, whatever. I haven't failed yet! Go here to download it: www.orbitdownloader.com/If you use Internet Explorer, everytime you play a video you simply hover the cursor over the picture and a little box comes up saying 'Get it'. Click on that, refresh the page and a box called Grab++ comes up showing you the files that you can download. If you are downloading from You Tube, look for a file which has a .flv extension, put a tick in the box next to it and click Download. It's easy! If you use Firefox then look for a little downward arrow above the video and click on that and the same thing happens. If you are downloading another type of video, not .flv, then it should be obvious which is the video file. If not, then trial and error sorts this out as all the other files which can be downloaded on the list will be tiny. I hope it works for you. If anyone has any questions about it then please let me know and I'll help if I can. Chris

Unfortunately, those links are not working for me. I was able to download orbit, but when I inserted a link to a video I wanted to save, I got messages that it couldn't be found or something like that.
Peace,Vivian
