Hi everybody,
Owning this forum as I do, I frequently check to see how many folk are dipping into it and using it regularly. With dismay, I feel that with the advent of Twitter and Facebook that this forum might be dying! I think that would be quite a tragedy as I, certainly, have made many good friends here and would miss them if this forum did not exist. Is it possible, please, for Magicaters out there to let us know that you are still interested in this forum?

I will continue here while alive, Chris.
And I'm sure there are many more like me who are also there in 'stand by' ... waiting for something to happen.
And that "something" will happen very soon: the release of the long-awaited new album!
When that happens, this forum will explode.

I enjoy checking the board, looking at the posts, pictures, videos, and news items that people post. I don't post often because I often don't feel I have something to say or add, but I do check the board daily for whatever is new. Am anxiously awaiting the new album!

I still regularly check in. I did feel the board missed a chance of being more alive a while back when more general discussions were allowed....

Thank you so much for the responses. I was just concerned because there had been no activity whatsoever in just about a week! Regina you don't need to sign in everytime. You should be able to take a box saying keep me logged in. If you have problems please PM me and I will help you through them.
Thank you all so much once again. It really is a fantastic community here. Thanks, Charles for you new ideas and keeping on top of things!

Please keep the board, I would like to post more, but sometimes I feel a little difficult because of the language, I am Brazilian and my English is not the best, but I come here regularly and I accompany all postings.
We all look forward to the release of the new album and I'm sure we'll have much to talk about.
I love this board!

Hello Novim,
I usually check in here every day. I was away on vacation for a bit, without internet, so just getting back here now.
Being a new member, sometimes I don't log in because I may be spending a lot of time catching up on threads that have been posted before I became a member. There is so much to see here, and I find it a very enjoyable forum.
Thanks for all you do!
PS: I don't do Facebook or twitter, so forums like this one are the only way I actually participate.

I see you were right to worry about the low participation in the forum, Chris.
A few days ago I posted the title of the upcoming album of Yusuf. I thought this was going to wake a torrent of comments about it. But none of this happened. At one time this would have generated a flurry of responses.
Unfortunately I see that you were right. I think that if a new Yusuf album moves so little interest, will be difficult to do otherwise. Let's see what we can do to lift this great space we have.
