It's Been over ten years but I have returned in peace.

Hi folks,  It's been ten years or more since I was here.  I figured it is time to make a return in peace.  The only wars I fight now are for peace, hope, faith, and the rights of all human beings.  I have loved Cat/Yusuf since I was eleven years old, 1971.  I used to be obsessed with the man.  LOL  I have a deep respect for Yusuf because of his music and his great concern for mankind. 

I used to be a Muslim, but left the faith in 2003 after 9/11.  I still love Islam, but found my peace at Trinity Episcopal Church, where I am active in human rights and justice.  I have no enemies.  Because all people, regardless of their beliefs, are Children Of God. 

I am still 'crazy' and I am happy and am hoping to make new Cat/Yusuf friends and reunite with old. 

My life is great, my husband and I just bought a new home, and he is going to be confirmed in our church.  As for those with whom I used to argue, don't bother trying to argue with me.  I don't argue online about anything.  I just want to reconnect with my fellow Cat buddies. 

Isn't it awesome, that after years of us signing petitions, and showing support, Yusuf is in the Hall Of Fame.  I loved seeing him accept the honor and his acceptance speech.  He is such a happy person.  AWESOME!!!

Hi Catherine, I wasn't around here 10 years ago, but I have seen you post on other Cat/Yusuf sites on FB and have read about your religious journey - your coming full circle - so to speak.
