How incredibly exciting! The timing of this European tour couldn't have been better.
I live in the U.S., but as luck would have it, will be in London in November and December.
I've got tickets for Paris and fingers crossed for Berlin.

Hello all,
I will have an extra ticket for the Vienna show on 13 November. It is Parkett Row 1. If anyone might be interested in the ticket, please post a reply on here. If anyone might have good recommendations for other places to post the ticket for sale, I'd appreciate that too. I'll be attending, but my mom is unfortunately not feeling well enough to travel (from USA), so I'd like for someone who wants to use it to have that opportunity. Thank you!

The fan crying foul seems to be most upset that he has to provide a picture ID. I don't see what the big deal is about that; wouldn't you have that with you at all times anyway? I'm sure it has to do with screening out scalpers. They said from the get-go that you'd have to provide the credit card you bought the ticket with at the door; no surprise there either.
When I attended a show recently at Madison Square Garden they did the "airport" search at the door. I don't mind; if it makes things safer, what the heck.

Completely agree. The world is a very unsafe place now, sadly and there are folk who want go make news by dying something horrific just to achieve notoriety. Look at Mark Chapman for instance. We all know his name now. Why? Because he shot and killed John Lennon. Yusuf is right to be cautious. If I was in his position, I would be too!

The man who once was Cat Stevens, inspired 3,000 people in Berlin. In big Halle, familiar songs and a humble rock star from the past provide a very intimate evening. By Patrick Goldstein Photo: AFP
Vertraute Lieder, bescheidener Rockstar: Yusuf Islam, früher bekannt als Cat Stevens
Familiar songs, modest rock star: Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens
Sold out for four weeks: good 3000 people have died at the Tempodrom, listen to a 66-year-old man, as he plays pieces that were hits four decades ago and he since then more has added nothing very successful. What still attracts them, may be the desire to contact for an hour or two from the here and now to travel back into the past. With the songs by Cat Stevens.

By that people, of he in the 60s and 70s once was a very secular curls crested with a bubenhaftem "I-me love" view - – is your host, also now far away. A man with curvy biography stands on the stage on this Kreuzberg tonight.
The backdrop looks like the train of a Western City, with water tank, around the crates, crooked shutters and the station sign of today's tour stops: Berlin. "Peace train" is one of the hits of Cat Stevens, who became Muslim in the 1970s and since Yusuf Islam is called. He enters this station on the peace train - blinking again - but at some point must meet and will take all over the world, friends and foes on the propitiatory travel in the future point 20: 00 slowly. Yusuf is modest, although the audience enthusiasm cries out. In leather jacket, striped T-Shirt and jeans from how just seeing the road wander in. Only, the sunglasses away reminded that here is a former opposite once again folk rock star who has sold 60 million albums.
Viewers know every note
"I love him, damn it", the Berlin-based electro musician and artist peaches before the start of the show told us. And the Berlin audience feels similar. His band joins Yusuf: bass, two guitars, keyboard, drums, and already the delicate string strumming of Yusuf's decades companions Alun Davis lets the audience cheer. "The wind" was the first piece of his plate "Teaser and the firecat" from 1971. Viewers know the most between 40 and 60 years, every note.
No hit is missing this evening. "Morning has broken", "I love my dog" are. "Sad Lisa" roll the muscular his mid-fifties with "Yusuf"-tour shirt in the row in front of us the tears down, and his companion sets him gently his arm on his broad shoulders. Before the start of "Where do the children play?", the cry of a baby is - very suitable - listen. Not the speakers but the parquet bestuhlten, at the front. "This is my granddaughter," Yusuf says. The mother with head scarf, accompanied by her family, is in Berlin. Before the encores, the band plays the long-awaited "father and son". As so often in this evening, sings the Hall of almost every line.
Yusuf Islam finally say goodbye with a peace sign. The viewers out of the Hall, go with a smile. "Beautiful night", the woman on the Chair wishes left us. "Come home" says the neighbor right. Warm goodbyes of wild alien people after a concert? In Berlin? Hello? The must have something very special advance have gone.

Did his granddaughter really cry at this show? If I remember from the dvd of the Porchester Hall concert a few years back his granddaughter let out a little cry as he introduced the song "Father & Son".
The grandchildren either have very good timing (crying at just the right songs), or they recognize their grandfather's voice. That is so sweet.
