Yeah, I just noticed that. I thought I was going crazy for a moment though because on my computer some of the boxes on the main page were printed in reverse, as if one was looking through a mirror. But when I scroll over them the box flips and it reads normally. Kinda funny.
I liked the old site better, with the red room & such. but I guess this one is more "modern". (Who uses that term anymore?)

LOTS OF INTETRESTING THINGS HERE!!!! LOADS....NEED A WEEK OFF ...WONDERFUL...I LIKE IT A LOT...WELL SO FAR.. However the Maqam info is out of date....just wondering , guess any of our donations for its inception were put to good use ,though...it would be nice to know ..I cant get hold of anyone and so wonder if anyone else knows anything UP TO DATE??? |

There certainly are a lot of interesting things on the new website. I thought I'd take a few moments to look around on it before I head out for the day...and I have been here glued to the computer. Must log off and...
yeah, a week off oughtta do it.
Nice website. Great picture gallery.
I like the song section as well; it's very informative and nicely arranged and you can sort songs by an interesting "search by theme" menu, with choices such as instrumental, nature, faith & spirituality, etcetera.

Jane was in charge of Maqam donations for a group of us.(..remember we were trying to come up with a representative brick?...) and after such a long period of inactivity, she gave it back to us. She didn't feel comfortable holding our money indefinitely. There was also going to be a private donor to help us get enough to afford the " memorial brick". I was looking forward to seeing the building come to fruition. I hope it's still on Yusuf's drawing board!  |

YES I REMEMBER BUT JUT WONDERING BECAUSE I MADE MY OWN PRIVATE DONATION ....I WAS SO ENTHUSIASTIC AND STILL THINK ITS A BRILL IDEA!!..HOWEVER I HAVE NEVER HEARD WHAT HAPPENED .MY SUBSTANTIAL DONATION I HOPE, HAS GONE TO GOOD CAUSES>>>BUT FACT REMAINS THAT I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING AND MY MONIES ARE GONE..would be nice to know where?... |
