I was listening to the song "Trouble" today as I drove home through the rain. I have read that inspiration for the song was young Cat's time of illness with tuberculosis.
Sometimes I imagine the songwriter as they come up with the lyrics to a particular song. As I listened to this song today I realized that the word Trouble has two syllables beginning with the letters T and B. It made me wonder if in a long ago first draft of "Trouble" the first words he may have scribbled down on paper were "Tb, oh Tb can't you see" and later in the song "Tb, oh tb move from me". It actually rhymes with the lines that follow in each case. Then perhaps he sleeps on it a while and later uses the word Trouble, a more artistic and symbolic way to express what he is writing about.
yeah, I know... I think too much, right?

Interesting thought, you may be onto something. We all know the story of how "Scrambled eggs, baby I love your legs" became "Yesterday."
