The Beacon show for 12/7/2014 has been removed from ticketmaster and from the Beacon Theatre website(and their calendar). Anybody know what is going on . Hopefully this is just to rattle the scalpers posting all those tix on stubhub and that the show isn't moved or cancelled.

I was wondering the same thing. I called the Beacon Theatre yesterday too ask about it and they said that Yusuf's concert is still scheduled for December 7th. I thought maybe the venue was being changed but that's not it. It's still at the Beacon from what they told me.

Maybe they are updating it to "ticketless" entry where you need to show the credit card you purchased your ticket with in order to get into the show. That seems to be the case with the shows in Toronto and Boston.

Sorry, Philadelphia. I edited my last post. The Amazon offer page no longer has the updated list of dates and venues as it did an hour ago.

Speaking of the Beacon... I attended a show last night at Madison Square Garden, alone, but I don't mind that. The fellow sitting next to me proceeded to tell his date about how he really would love to see Cat Stevens, how he pre-ordered the cd, anticipating using the presale code to buy tickets to see Yusuf at the Beacon. I didn't have the heart to pipe up and tell him he should have tried to get a ticket to one of the other venues. Hey, NY was closer to me, but I will travel to another town, it's worth it. Anyway, for anyone itching to see a good show in NYC, go see Fleetwood Mac tonight at MSG. I saw them last night and I can sum up my review in one word: "awesome"! They play another night there this evening Oct 7th. I actually bought the ticket to see them on a whim. When I was getting ready for the sale of Yusuf's tickets I went on to Ticketmaster to see if my info was in there and I noticed that Fleetwood Mac was on tour, which I didn't even know. So I said why not? Bought a ticket up on the side of the stage, in the second tier, and it was great. They played some some songs that I haven't heard since I was in college in the 70's. Even though I had not listened to these songs in years, the lyrics came right back to me instantly when I heard them live. So wonderful. www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/review-fleetwood-mac-restores-trademark-harmonies-christine-mcvie-msg-article-1.1965671Welcome back, Ms. McVie! We've missed you.

Hi everyone,
I'm writing an article on paperless tickets, and would like to get some opinions/quotes from people who planned to go to the NYC show, or just Cat Stevens' fans in general on this issue. This can be anonymous of course if you don't want your name printed.
If you could get back to me (brice.detruche@gmail.com), I would gladly ask you a few questions on the subject.
Thank you all for your help,
Brice
