I saw Art Garfunkel in concert last evening in Port Chester, NY at the lovely Capitol Theatre. In recent years he has had problems with his vocal cords, but last evening his singing was wonderful. His voice is returning nicely, and he gifted us with some 17 or so songs. He enjoys spinning an entertaining story as well, interspersing prose between songs. I know of no other man who can hit notes in such a high register. An angelic voice.
(This was the second concert I have been to this month where the people sitting next to me had a discussion related to Cat Stevens!)
