I've been listening to clips from the recent concerts and trying to get used to the updated version of Bitterblue. The timing is so different, I wonder why the change. Anyway here is the new versus the original. What's your take on it? Maybe I don't like being reminded of "slowing down"!  Shoot, I gotta have something to dance to!  just sayin' |

THANK YOU...Both GeorgiouI mean gorgeous! Yes...they are both Georgiou/Steven/Cat/Yusuf... You crack me up. I agree with Richina. I prefer the rhythm of the original, but the update is fine too. I'm getting used to it. I wonder if someone was just goofing around on guitar and said, hey that sounds interesting, let's change it up? Doesn't really seem to be due to a lowering of vocal range, because he's been hitting some rather high notes in concert lately. No big difference in the lyrics that I can see. It is interesting. |

I thought the original was overly busy in the percussion, but I prefer it's rhythm.
