Thanks for posting the videos Monika...wonderful memories for me! YES EVERYBODY...I WENT TO THE L.A. CONCERT AND WITHOUT A TICKET IN HAND!!! I got on a plane Saturday morning with the aim of trying to score a ticket when the box office opened the day of the show (Sun.). Sat. eve I was hanging around the Nokia Theater watching people ice skate, and enjoying the lights, when a young woman, a Nokia employee, approached me asking if I would like to enter a contest to win free Kenny G. tickets. I told her "Thanks, but no, what I'd like is a ticket to tomorrow night's show...that's what I'm here for! Got any of those??" She asked me if I was referring to "Yusuf/Cat Stevens" and told me she and her husband were going to the show. I learned she and her husband had been raised on Cat's music and that they were big fans. She had scored the tickets by being chosen "Employee of the Month" and requested this particular show. I then told her my story, and what a fan I was, then asked if she knew any secret to maybe acquiring a ticket....she leaned in close and whispered she had actually won 4 tickets and would I like to accompany them to the show? I was dumbfounded, not only at this young woman's generosity, but at my own blind luck! The universe meant for me to see the show...oh, and the universe did not disappoint! Orchestra Center 20 rows back....dead center and it couldn't have been more fabulous!! I even did some star gazing...Sean Penn, George Lopez, Paul Stanley! Oh, almost forgot...visited with Alun and Eric at LAX baggage claim then again after the show (Yusuf had cut out )! Alun gave me a tour pass, and they both signed it! Met Christina for the first time and made a new "Cat" friend Debbie from Denver! All in all it was "fancatstic"!!

And I am so happy you made it Richina- it was meant to be. It would have been heart breaking for you to miss out! What an amazing coincidence to meet this woman and for her to have a spare ticket. Wonderful story. And to meet Alun and Eric-and more importantly Christina !!

Ahh, so happy for you Richina! Like Yusuf says in the song "Doors":
"If you never risk to lose You may never get to win If you never venture out You will see nothing."
I'm glad that you ventured out and got to see the concert, and make new friends too!

Hi peeps...
I was at the SF (11th row) and L.A. (2nd Row) shows. I managed copies of the setlists for both shows, Yusuf's son passed the setlist to me at the SF show!
L.A.: (This is what the setlist reads - it might not be what was played or in the correct order - but these setlist were on stage. I'm still overwhelmed at seeing the shows - I can't for the life of me remember the order of things. ;-))
- The Wind - Don't be Shy - Blackness of the night - The First Cut... - Here Comes my Baby - Road to Find Out - Sitting. - Thinking About You - Where do the Children Play? - Miles from Nowhere - People Get Ready - Maybe There's a World/All You Need is Love - If You Want to Sing Out...
Break
- Big Boss Man - Trouble - Oh Very Young - Dying to Live - Foreigner/Heaven (Where True Love Goes) - Remember the Days... (Schoolyard) - Roadsinger - You are my Sunshine - Moonshadow - Editing Floor Blues - Another Saturday Night - The Devil Came to Kansas - Wild World - Father & Son
I don't post much, hope posting this official list is allowed. Any questions, let me know.

Hi liltiki,
Thanks for posting the setlist that you got. If you go to Yusuf's website and click on Events, then again on events, and click on the city, you can get a setlist of what was played at each show. It does look like they made some rearrangements and changes. Interesting to see "Road to Find Out" on your setlist. If that was played, Ale could add it to his "master list" of all the songs played during the entire tour. Do you remember if they played that song? It might have been dropped for some reason. I don't think anyone else has mentioned hearing it at one of the concerts, so maybe there wasn't time enough to rehearse it or something. Would have been great to hear that one for sure.
Very cool that you got to go to both Cali shows. Thanks for sharing.

I'm almost certain he played it. But you'd have to confirm it.

According to www.setlist.fm (www.setlist.fm/setlist/yusuf-islam/2014/nokia-theatre-la-live-los-angeles-ca-6bcd26c6.html) the songs played in Los Angeles were these in this order:
Set 1: 1. The Wind 2. Don't Be Shy 3. Blackness of the Night 4. The First Cut Is the Deepest 5. Here Comes My Baby 6. Miles from Nowhere 7. Sitting 8. Thinking 'Bout You 9. Where Do the Children Play? 10. Roadsinger 11. People Get Ready 12. Maybe There's a World 13. All You Need Is Love 14. If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out
Set 2: 15. Big Boss Man 16. Trouble 17. Oh Very Young 18. Heaven/Where True Love Goes 19. (Remember the Days of the) Old Schoolyard 20. Dying to Live 21. Bitterblue 22. Another Saturday Night 23. You Are My Sunshine 24. Moonshadow 25. Editing Floor Blues 26. The Devil Came From Kansas 27. Wild World 28. Father and Son
Encore: 29. Gold Digger 30. Peace Train 31. Sad Lisa 32. Morning has broken
The order is almost the same. He played Bitterblue instead of On the road to findout

I'm glad that you ventured out and got to see the concert, and make new friends too! You ain't gonna believe this but...listening to that song is exactly what pushed me to take the chance! It's amazing you said it! I had a great time and looking forward to the next!

I forgot about Bitterblue - a very different version from the recording. Well, he intended to play On the Road - not sure why he didn't.
