Hi all,
Don't forget that Yusuf is getting a lifetime achievement award tomorrow at the Radio 2 Folk awards tomorrow (22nd) in Cardiff! It's on the Red Button from tomorrow. He was on The One Show on BBC1 tonight. Use Catchup if you missed it! Enjoy!

A fantastic evening. The live bands were amazing and the audience really appreciative. It was great to see such
luminaries as Andy Fairweather Lowe, Billy Bragg, Tom Robinson and David Gray who gave Yusuf his well deserved award. Amusingly Yusuf was bemused by the little figure on the award saying it didn't look anything like him! The two songs he did were immaculately performed.
Do catch up with it if you missed it! We're looking forward to seeing it again on iPlayer tonight!

Re - The OneShow, Yusuf mentioned a forthcoming album and spoke about revisiting some of his earliest songs.

Did anyone else notice that Yusuf mentioned a book that he has been working on and hopes to finish someday? Hoping this means a comprehensive autobiograhy is in the works.  |

"Die Kunst, Geschichten zu erzählen und nachhaltige Bilder zu schaffen, ist etwas untergegangen, deswegen schreibe ich ein Buch." Die Geschichte handle, angelehnt an seinen Hit "Moonshadow", von der Suche nach dem Land des ewigen Lichts. Die Illustration macht der Künstler aber nicht mehr selbst. "Mit dem Stift bin ich etwas faul geworden."
