This song was written by Paul Travis and David Gordon (Cat Steven's elder brother). It was originally written as part of an album, with the title Alpha to Omega, of which little seems to have been heard, but Cat Stevens heard the song and recorded it on his album IZITSO. It was also used as the title music to the 1977 film 'First Love', directed by Joan Darling.
