I joined red room to get pre sale and I still haven't received the code to buy tickets! Has anyone gotten theirs yet? Any success with tickets? I'm very upset.

Check your spam folders. That's where mine was hiding. Good luck. Each code is unique to each member, by the way. So - no sharing.

A little pissed...considering I've belonged for years. We should have been "grandfathered" in, you know...for our loyalty! 😏

I think it is a big mistake to charge for a 'fan' website. Very poor of the admin not to even tell us 'previously free users' of the RedRoom that we'd been locked out to, I'd thought initially it was my fault, incorrect password etc. Have to admit I was so annoyed I never paid to join and after hearing all the problems people have encountered I'm glad I didn't. I'm afraid I'm not so patient as some have been.

Well, I tried to speak out loud for "opening the gate" of RedRoom forum (Fantasy Ring) if not RedRoom is free enymore, BUT admins did not allowe me to communicate this with other members of Yusuf Cat Stevens PAUSE facebook fan page, they (admins) DELETED several of my comments. :-(

I would like to discuss with all of you (so I hope that admins will let my post go public, tnx in advance!) the concept of RedRoom. I think that one crucial mistake is made from the beginning, when the concept of RedRoom was build, and now I am afraid that this conceptioanal mistake will become a huge problem for the idea behind the RedRoom - and that idea is to build community of old and new Cat Yusuf fan.

Unfortunately, now when RedRoom finally opens its door I realised that only those fans, only those with paid membeship, can have access in RedRoom and have some kind of benefits, AND (that is important!) posibillity to build community through Forum (Fantasy Ring) and that is nothing left for “regular” members (not Nomads, not Jzeros). Btw why even free registration when after that it is also the last stop (if you do not buy Monads or Jzero membership)?

And this is a big RedRoom misconception, totaly oposite to Cat Yusuf’s work & ideas. To give.

ReedRoom must have something free for regular registered users (as it had since from the begginnig, in the "old incarnation" of Cat Stevens.com), not only for those who paid 20 or 40 $. For example, I think (and suggest) that this forum (Fantasy Ring) has to be FREE FOR ALL FANS with just simple free RedRoom registration, you can even consider to think what else will be free for ALL OF US. And those fans who want something extra (better tickets, not available demos, special merchandise etc)... ok, they'll have to pay for that, but in hope that this money is mainly for humanitarian purpose. That was why I become NOMADS member.

I have paid for Monads membership 20 $ (doesn't matter at this moment what I think... is it this membership worth it or not), BUT I am not pleased If I receive any special message from Yusuf etc. just because I have paid for it. I do not want those kind of paid "specials". Yusuf must have the same exclusive or non-exclusive messages for ALL HIS FANS. I do not like to “pay for love”. Sorry. If I was willing to pay, I did it for something else (tickets, merchandise...), I do not want to be more or less worth than any other fan, not in a context of communication! (sorry, english is not my native language, so perhaps I can not properly explain my position)

If RedRoom is pure adn ONLY bussiness model, than there is again in contradiction with Yusuf’s work and message.

So, take a look how Pear Jam community is functioning… how big and rich Forum is (and it is FREE), and this in RedRoom here we’ll never be anything like that, never. The community must be free. Like it was for example on old Majicat web and message board.

Barney, if I understand what you are saying correctly, there are different levels of membership and depending on what you pay is what you can access on the site. If this is so then it is even worse than I thought. I personally never looked at joining as I was so annoyed when I found my free membership had just ceased without even being made aware of it.

I agree with you the Pearl Jam Forums and Majicat is the only way to have a good community. This way we can all join in and chat and if we post links they will be easier to find, unlike Facebook where you see a link one day and then can't find it in your newsfeed the next day.

I was a member of the original Fantasy Ring back in the day, I use to look forward to receiving the magazines and letters from them and it was all so relaxed, it was lovely

Leave the Pause website to the banal and annoying posts, this site was always for the true and loyal fans, like Cristalina I was there way back in the Fantasy Ring just a shame we can't make this for the "old crew" only

It was always friendly on here, not like the catstevens.com which could get a bit heated, have to say I enjoyed it there though. It was the 1st site I ever discovered when I was a newbie to the internet. Just read through the reviews on here for Porchester Hall, what a great evening that was

You're right I should stop reading the comments on the Pause page too, I get so annoyed when they act like Yusuf is a god, surely something he'd strongly disapprove of, he is very human and makes mistakes like all of us. I wonder if they really like his music?
