I'm very sorry to have to inform you all of the passing of Del Newman. Many of you will know that Del worked closely with Cat Stevens on many of his albums for several years and appeared with him in concerts managing the strings arrangements. Del also worked with many other high profile musicians including Elton John, George Harrison, Carly Simon, Gordon Giltrap, Rod Stewart and Paul Simon to name but a few. He was a supremely talented musician and a lovely man who will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Del.
