Greetings to all, I have often thought I have had a similar journey to Cat/Yusuf just without the fame, being mixed-Cypriot and Scottish though not Swedish and being born in London,

I have been a part-time murid of Sheikh Nazim and a student of Daskalos (Stylianos Atteshlis), I am currently trying to get more into my Northern roots,

My father had an original copy of Tea for the Tillerman that I used to listen to growing up, it was one of my favourite albums, I later bought copies of Izitso, Numbers and Another Cup,

I have also read "Why I Still Carry a Guitar",

I played in James Walbourne's first band at school (keyboards) who is now married to Kami Thompson, daughter of Richard Thompson who appeared on Another Cup,

I have met Yusuf once at the British Library after dreaming that I would encounter him,

So that is me and my connection to Cat,

I hope to explore some esoteric connections between my roots and his on this board and be inspired,
