Hi this is my first posting, since the early 60's I have been a friend of Peter, who passed away 29 July 2021. I was there when he and Cat first met and they started playing as a duo at Les Cousins in Soho London. I expect many of you know that Cat was the producer on Peter's self penned recordings, I still have the Advanced Copies of these. As a tribute to Peter I asked my Grand Daughter, who is a portrait artist, to produce a portrait of Peter, this is now complete. Copies are being sent to his two Brothers, and to George Brown the author of the Cat Stevens biography. I intend to send a copy to Cat/Yusuf who paid tribute to Peter on his Face book page, but not sure whereabouts it should be sent. If Admin or anybody can help with this, it would be very much appreciated. I have sent a personal message on his official FB page, but so far have had no response, perhaps he does not see everything that is posted, but I live in hope. Also to say I have made no charge for the prints or postage to the above mentioned, it's just something I want to do. R.I.P Peter Janes.
