Didn't notice any posts on the Toronto stop on World Tour. This would have been a just after or before the Montreal show that has DVD exposure. I was at the Toronto show (aged 16), so here's a little glimpse:
The concert was at Massey Hall, an old opera-house which holds approx. 2,200 people. The Majicat Tour was planned for stadiums but according to media reports at the time, Cat heard bad things about the sound/acoustics at Maple Leaf Gardens -- the 20,000+arena where his show normally would have been booked (perhaps in 'concert bowl' format of 12,000, but that is neither here nor there) -- so he refused to play there. Therefore the show had to be scaled down to fit into Massey Hall's small stage. It also made tickets super-scarce.
Cat was wearing the same grey cord pants and green rubber boots as you see in the DVD footage -- but with a plain green t-shirt. The concert opened with the magic show, which blew everyone away. There was no video screen, though, or the big fabric backdrop. I recall some plants onstage. At one point Cat went to get his Ovation guitar off the stand and almost dropped it. He froze for a second or two. Another time, some baby in the crowd started crying and Cat imitated the sounds back. It was sweet.
I remember that he played all the songs off the first side of Tea for The Tillerman (not in a row). Perhaps most surprising was one of his encore songs -- I Love My Dog.
That's what I recall offhand. I was sure lucky to be there.
