I just got to see this famous concert via CD. Thanks Sakinah, I feel much more educated. ;D
I kept thinking I had seen Cat gesture before but in a way different setting. Then it hit me, our old sheep shearer had very similar facial expressions and way of moving. LOL. Cat is built nice and wiry and not too tall for shearing sheep.
He isn't much into the audience thing is he? Or being real flashy. It comes across as a pretty intence and introverted show.

What I found funny were the incidences during the concert where Cat was trying to look "cute", lol.. He reminded me of my cat who is forever trying to look cute so I'll scratch her back..hehe

It was so heartwarming watching him be able to laugh at his own mistakes! I just wanted to reach into my VCR and give that man a hug! Peace,Vivian

Vivian, I love that part where he forgot the words to Bitterblue. ;D Yes Sanna, that's my little Nikita. She's every bit as sweet as she looks too...my perpetual kitten (she's 7 years old and still acts and plays like a kitten). She'll get up in the chair next to me and will tap me on the arm with her paw when she wants to be petted..lol

AWWW, Sakinah, what a pretty baby...He is adorable.
You know, I get tickled with the little things Cat does in that show, like he picks up the guitar and does this 'peek-a-boo' thing and he runs his hand in front of his face and closes his eyes...adorable. How can we not be endeared to such a cute person. And that blubber on "Bitterblue" is a rock classic in my book.
And yes, I have noticed his feline traits. I love the 'Stool' pic where Cat is perched on a stool looking all handsome and sexy....He resembles a cat in that pic...and everyone knows how I love kitty-cats. I have five and all of them walk so sleek and graceful like CAT.
Oh, geez, don't get me started...LOL
Love, C

Yes I've seen the picture of you cat Viv...she's a cutie! Nikita is my baby, lol...It's pretty pathetic the way I baby her, but she's just so cute! I have an older cat who's not into being "babied", but will allow me to snuggle with her occasionally as well...heheeh

Hello FJSimon,
The BBC concert which is the concert this Bitterblue version appears on, isn't yet out on DVD. (hopefully one day it will be) I wish it were. But since you live in New Mexico, do you get the station Trio? It's a candian station which is on cable, Direct TV and satellite. They have been regularly playing it along with early James Taylor, Neil Young and Elton John BBC concerts from 1971. Keep an eye on the Trio station.

Another option is to check out Ebay, copies of it is sold quite regularly on the auction website.

I just want to reach out and rub her silky tummy, but I bet she'd give me a love-nip, huh! Ya think her pupils could get ANY BIGGER??!! Cutey. I have two cats myself -- a brother and sister pair, 13 years old. Sweeties they are.

Sakineh, she looks like a long-haired version of my Gracie. Gracie has the best temperament, never scratches, is loving but despises being held. She will squirm to get down when you hold her, but her claws are never out. I don't even recall her ever scratching anyone.
Love, C

Nikita has never deliberately scratched either...though she does have some very sharp claws. She's gotten me a couple of times accidently while we were playing

"BUT WHY DO THOSE BOYS GET TO EAT----MEOW!! Then bbecause her gums were quite sore, she has to be on antibiotics for about a week!TEXT"WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE THAT ICKY STUFF SHOVED DOWN MY THROAT----MEOW MEOW, and THOSE BOYS DON'T!! MEOW MEOW!!!!

Viv, that blasted cat is probably saying exactly what you wrote. Ugh, I hate giving medicine to cats...OUCH!!! Go to the store and buy her some baby food. It is pure protein and she will love it. They love the meat kind in the little jars.
Love ya, C
