I thought this might be of interest to those of you who are Carly fans (like me!!) BBC Radio 2 will be airing a 2-part interview on Carly - September 10 and 17th. It will be availabel to listen to on their internet site. Here's the link for info about it: www.carlysimon.com/news/news.htmMaybe she'll have something to say about Cat!!

Thanks for the info, Hummingbird, I love Carly too, I'll definately be listening to those programmes. The only thing I know about her relationship with Cat is that he wrote 'Sweet scarlet' for her and she wrote 'Anticipation' for him. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a mention in the interviews.

Lucy, There's a whole load of stuff about 'You're so vain' on the link that Hummingbird mentioned. Out of the 5 usual suspects, she says a few times it's definately not James Taylor or Mick Jagger, and that it was a composite character from 3 men she knew. Warren Beatty gets some mentions as part inspiration,so I guess that still leaves Cat and Kris Kristofferson in the running for the other two... I doubt she's going to be anymore forthcoming in the radio interviews, as she basically says the speculation keeps people interested, and a final solution would spoil it. I think she's probably right...
