OK, here's my very first thread topic. Probably strange...
I'm not sure if it's a Cat or Yusuf question. Well, anyway, it could apply to either, as it's just imaginary... hypothetical. Anyway, he's the same person after all!
If you could invite him along with you to any concert (other than his own, ha ha) who would you want to go see? Either now or in the past.
For example, would you like to take him with you to an Eagles concert? Rolling Stones? What would your ears like to experience with him right next to you (or in the company of you and your friends)?
I haven't decided yet, but one of my first thoughts is Yanni. Or Moody Blues!

I'd take him to the Elton John concert that I am going to on Saturday night!! Me, Elton, Billy, Yusuf and oh yea my husband.
I would bet Yusuf likes Elton's music. It's kinda hard not to like Elton.

I would love to go with him to see Fleetwood Mac. The only problem is the last time I went to see them I went totally crazy and acted like a total loon...(moreso than my usual lunacy) I don't know if Yusuf would want to be seen with a nut, but then again he may join me by screaming and jumping around as well.
I would also love to take him to see someone mellow. I think Yusuf would enjoy hearing Counting Crows unplugged.
Lucy, this is a great thread. I love it when someone comes up with something that hasn't been talked about before.

I would take him to see Loreena McKennitt. Now that woman can belt out some beautiful Celtic tunes with a touch of an Arabic beat.
She would be my first choice. Second would be hmmmmm perhaps Van Morrison if only he still toured.

I'm with Vivian on this one! I'd take him with me to see Paul McCartney at the end of April - mostly so I wouldn't make a fool of myself over Paul!
And besides, with two of my favorite male singers together in one place - with ME, no less - well, that would come close to my idea of heaven on earth! ;D

Oh bummer! The EJ/BJ concert we had tickets for was cancelled for last night. Supposedly it was cancelled a while ago...but I heard (by chance) only about an hour before we were going to leave the house. Geezzzee...I think I'm out of practice with the concert scene...hahaha
